Thai shares open 1.17 per cent lower

Thai shares shed 7.17 points or 1.17 per cent when the market was open for trading Tuesday morning. The composite index of the Stock Exchange of Thailand dropped to 607.32 at 10:05 am with a trading volume of Bt1.07 billion.
