Taipei shares open higher in absence of Fed rate hike signals

TAIPEI (XFN-ASIA) - Share prices opened higher, tracking strong gains on Wall Street after the Federal Reserve left its key interest rate unchanged and gave no indication that an increase is forthcoming, dealers said.
