China's exports are declining as world demand slows China's exports have dropped into their biggest decline in a decade. Exports in December were down 2.8% from the same time last year, a bigger decline than November's 2.2% drop, the China Daily said.

An air and sea search for survivors from a ferry that sank off the Indonesian island of Sulawesi is continuing, despite heavy weather. At least 34 people, including the ship's captain, have now been rescued but more than 200 are still missing.
