The qb 2008 Cambodian National Volleyball League Grand Finals will be held from 5pm to 8.30pm on Friday 10th October 2008 at the Olympic Stadium Phnom Penh.

Presided over by H.E Minister Ith Sam Heng, Minister of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation, and featuring live music performances by legendary 12 year old Cambodian coloratura soprano BospaPANH and Cambodian rock band Coconut, the Grand Final match between the Kompong Speu Siemens Kangaroos and Phnom Penh Sunway Hotel Dragons will begin at 7.30pm and be broadcast live to air on CTN TV.

The winning team will collect US$3000 in prize money, a unique trophy manufactured from decommissioned AK-47s and the prestigious title of qb Cambodian National Volleyball League Champions.

Following the Grand Finals, the Cambodian National Standing Volleyball Team will go into intensive training under National Coach Christian Zepp (GER) in preparation for the 2008 WOVD Slovakia World Cup in November where Cambodia aim to become #1 in the World!
