Will “Little Barry” be welcome in Indonesia? 1 Month, 1 Week ago Karma: 5
Barack Obama has announced a trip to Indonesia, where he lived for four years as a child. But will he be welcomed with open arms? Just a week ago, a group of local Facebookers furious at the decision to erect a statue of Obama as a child in Jakarta filed a lawsuit against the local council for putting it up.

i think the honeymoon is already over, how my people welcome him would largely depend on what Obama has to offer.
by the way, the statue was put there on 11 December 2009 almost three months ago, i also supported the lawsuit because only people who have made great contribution to Indonesia deserve to have their statue erected on public parks.
Obama hasn't made any real contribution to Indonesia and he has never visited Indonesia since his return to America in 1971. moreover in the current administration there has been no substantial change in American foreign policy toward Kenya, the country where most of his family live now
