WHY NOT YOUR PICTURE ?

A lot of our friend members din't put their picture in their profile

Why ?

I imagine several reasons

- They are too shy
- they need that for security reason
- They don't want to be recognized and so to be free to express themselve
- They had not a good picture

In this case, why not to chose a good avatar that could personalize you : a picture, a cartoon... or anything you think that could be you.

Don't stay completly anonymous, personalize you profile, by anyway you think it is a touch of you

Looking at the shared articles and daily posted forums, Asia is limited to two countries : Pakistan and Burma

Hi, Asia Observer members (or &quot;users&quot;, but I don't like this word)

Among thousands of everyday visitors, we are now more than 600 persons in the world that these last months dared (with no risk)to be Asia Observer (A.O.)members.

That's good, but too much are anonymous. I like to see who share articles, post forums or write to me.

Why not to put a pictute in you profile ? it is so more pleasant (and easy). If you have a security problem in your country and you don't dare put a picture of you, fix a logo of your choice <br><br>Post edited by: Jacques, at: 2007/12/11 04:17

What your vote means ?

I feel that people voting on shared article are not voting in the good way.

When somebody share an article, for instance on Burma's junta, that don't means that the user is for the junta, but he wanted to share with A.O. something about the junta

All the users and visitors giving a low rate because they don't like the junta are wrong.

The only thing you have to answer by rating is : is this article interesting ?

As most of you have seen, it will be soon six months I launched &quot;What happended that day in Asia history&quot; I tried to make it a reference. I have several time din't put an event because I got several different dates for it and in the doubt I prefered not mention it.
