I agree with you when you said that people have to live. But it's also important 'how we live too'. How about living in such a way that you do not become a big burden and your footprint will be small?

When you think about globalisation it's not just a matter of 'free trade' and 'profit' only. We also have to be aware that 'humankind as all linked together.' What's happening in 'one part' of the earth will also effect on the 'other parts' of the earth as well.

When leaders talk about not being able to put a break on businesses and manufacturing is because it can allegedly hurt the 'econiomic growth' of the country. Do they ever think about how harmful it would be if we keep on continuing letting Carbon emmissions into our atmosphere.

It's like President Johnson saying "It's better that the son-of-a-bitch is pissing outside rather than pissing inside." For us none of the son-of-a-bitch can afford to 'piss' into our atmosphere. It will come back and hit you sooner or later.

We definitely have to change our life style. Like Shumacher said "small is beautiful" we should find a way to satisfy our greed in a way that will have less impact on our environment.
