ONE USER, WHO TRIED TO REGISTER AS A MEMBER, SENT ME THE FOLLOWING COMPLAINT:

"the most stupid of webdesign i have ever meet...
supposely a web2.0 website.. users friendliness is the lowest of all....

which webmaster who has common sense palce the login dialog at the lower
half of the page?
i spent half an hour trying to log in....

trying to reset the password also fail...

u fool... i give up... good luck"

Any comments from other users/members? Do you agree/disagree? What are your suggestions for improvements?

I am used to such comments and kinds of people in the net. This is nothing new. It is important that we know who calls the shot,and this lines come handy which i got from an email sent to me..

At the beginning, I had some problems to accustom, but it's easy once you get used to it.

Asia Observer is a wonderfull tool to watch Asia. It will be a reference if the shared stories are very professionnal. A new visitor has to see the more important news in All Asia, not a lot of some news on only one a contry, and so be giving the urge to come back.

It's very objective of you to share with us comments from users like this one. Personally, I had same issue during my first time here. I was looking for the login link at the top of the page and was surprised to see it at the lower left portion of the page. But it's something that will grow in you as a regular user.

however, it's only necessary that we keep on improving the site so as to encourage more user participation. We're slowly getting there.
