Can we trust Thailand?

Thailand is having problems at its North with Cambodia at the moment over a Temple, or at border between Thailand Cambodia. Thailand and Cambodia are members of ASEAN. Thailand is having problems with Muslims in the south as well .

It is a known fact that when United States was waging war against Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, in the campaign against Communists. Thailand was wilfully helping United States in every way it could.

It is not wrong to say that Thailand is one country which was making fortunes out of other people miseries. Miseries of people of Vietnam, miseries of people of Laos, miseries of people of Cambodia, not to forget miseries of the people of Myanmar.

In Thailand there is no permanent US military base that we know of. We do not know how many unofficially stationed there. But there are no shortage of UN personnel and troops in Thailand at all time, as military advisors.


It would be fair to say that, Thailand is a US satellite country in the region . It is a puppet of United States in Southeast Asia.

Most nations in Southeast Asia are peace loving nations. They don’t make wars, but they will defend it ,they defended their countries at all cost from any enemies because that is their country.

Neither South East Asia countries, or Peoples Republic of China would over look Thailand attitudes and Thailand’s behaviour, its honesty and sincerity if there are any. That is the fact. They may have already drawn lines which Thailand should not cross.

If Thailand thinks, it can dominate Southeast Asia with the help of US or with the support of US, it should think again, and think hard. Thailand cannot make it neighbours enemies of Thailand. If Thai are prepared to make Thailand as battle field, good luck to Thais.

It could be said that Thailand is progressing, it is developing But what and how much does it cost Thailand to have this progress, to have these developments. No matter how much progress or how much developed Thailand is, nobody can say there are no poor people in Thailand, there is no poverty in Thailand or there is no unemployment in Thailand.

Yet Thailand said , it is facing labour shortage . Thailand rely and depends on immigrant labours which came into Thailand from neighbouring countries who are seeking employments . Illegal workers, who were paid illegal wage. No insurance, no benefits , no reliability for the employers. The cheapest of its kind. Thai employers are making fortune out of other miseries.

What about human rights situation in Thailand? Who is talking about it? Who is dramatising about it? Is that not of media interests? Why only Myanmar's human rights records are they talking about? Becuse there is only ONE human being in Myanmar ? Are other 57 millions are not human beings?

Thailand, especially Thailand should be careful what it is talking about, what it is doing. Thailand is progressing, developing not with its own expance, but with other neighbouring countries expences.

South Vietnam could not be defended by the US. South Korea can not be helped, if its come to it. Of course the cost may be too high. But all Korean will wake up, when they realised they are just one people, they are just one blood.

Another thing is no matter how much progressed or developed Thailand is, it is well known to the world as the world whore house. Thailand is a country of prostitutes Thai government is a pimp, government officials are pimps. Thailand may have its monarch , but Thailand is not a free nation it is not a independent it is not a sovereign nation. Thai King is a constitutional monarch, it has no real power. The power is in the hands of the politician.

Some people might say Thailand’s domestic matters are nothing to do with Myanmars. It may be true to a certain instinct, it may be right. But when there are Myanmar nationalities involved in Thailand affairs, it has become Myanmar’s affair. Thailand’s foreign and domestic policies are more or less effecting Myanmar.

Thailand was and is still harbouring multi coloured insurgents who are fighting against Myanmar, helping them under many different names. Thailand did not allow Myanma Tatmadaw to pursue the insurgents into its territory. Thailand is still given sanctuary to the insurgents. Thailand is still practicing under the umbrella of the UN.

Turkish army was allowed to invade Cyprus , Turkish army was allowed to cross into the border of Iraq ( Kurdish region) to pursue Kurdish PKK rebels . Myanmar was not allowed.

Because Thailand if freely operating prostitution HIV, AIDS are spreading into neighbouring countries from Thailand including Myanmar . Myanmar girls are working in Thailand in various employments including as prostitutes.

Thailand is the only country in Southeast Asia which was not touched by war, any war. Thailand regularly has joint military exercise with United States military and it is under the protection of United States of America.

United States navel forces personnel and troops in the area have holidaying in Thailand, Thailand provided US with anything and every thing for a price including Thai girls underage or over age. Among Thai girls are Myanmar nationals from Mon , Talaing and Kayin races.

Myanmar is also sharing border with China, Bangladesh, India There are no, Myanmar prostitutes in those countries that we know of.

If a nation is a danger to neighbouring nations, if a nation is a threat to neighbouring nations, if a nation is a threat to the peace and stability of the region of SOUTHEAST ASIA, if a nation deserved to be expel from ASEAN Then that nation is no other nation but Thailand.

Nations in ASEAN should beware and always question Thailand loyalty. Honesty and sincerely Is it loyal to ASEAN or its loyalty is to United States. of America?

Nations in ASEAN while having their eyes on Myanmar, focusing on Myanmar , they should also watch Thailand with their eyes opened, not to let Thailand get away with murders, whether it is a puppet of US or not. We cannot not let Thailand mess up the region like in the past. Myanmar had it, Laos had it, Cambodia had it ,Vietnam had it, who else?

Thailand must come clean before its too late.

Some times ago in a Thai newspaper there was a news that a Thai elephant stepped on mines and lost a leg.
thais blame on Myanmar because the animal stepped on a mine 30 km inside Myanmar. The purpsoe (main message) of the newspaper is to blame Myanmar for elephant loss of leg.

but i get the second message which is how come Thai elephant (if elephant goes there must be Thai people
also) go inside Myanmar for 30 km??

Another news is killing of a KNU leader in Mae Sot.
the point of the news is to check if Myanmar government killed the karen leader in his mae sot home. I get the second message again - Mae Sot is inside Thailand. how come that insergent who is fighting Myanmar get visa to stay and permit to buy the house??

Thare are no shortage of Myanmar exiles, insurgents and terrorist against Union of Myanmar living in Thailand ,active in many other parts of Thailand mainly Chai Mai, Mai Sot, just across Thai-Myanmar border. Not to forget some Myanmars who are members of NLD called their place NLD (L.A). This L.A. is not Los Angeles,thet mean to call it Liberated Area. Which area of Myanmar NLD has liberated , Buddha alone knows.

It was true that after Myanmar's independent and during conflicts between The government of Union of Myanmar ( Pyi doung Zu ASO Ya troops (a)Myanmar Tatmadaw ) some parts of Myanmar were occupied by either Communsits or the Kyin (KNDO/KNU)

Today Chai Mai and Mai Sot are almost Myanmar towns. Thailand has to be careful , bvery careful these people , for they can create a lot of problems, even war between two nations. Besides, Chai Mai( Zin Mei) once belonged to Myanmar, did you know that?

It is a well known, Kayins (KNU) member travels on Thai passports. Kaying are given santury by the Thailand , sometimes Thailand even attack Myanma Tatmadaw which was persuing KNU, in aid of KNU saying, Myanmar bullets land on Thai soil. So they had to fire warning shots. In reality Thais were given covering fires for the KNU to escape.

There are Kayins on either side of Myanmar and Thailand as Thai Kayins and Myanmar Kayins. Thailand openly armed the Thai-Kayins from their side to protect themselves from Myanma Tatmadaw they said. They never said they armed Myanmar Kayins. How many of these arms reach KNU ( Myanmar - Katins ) in the name of Thai -Kayins, nobody can tell.

Thailand may be supported by US, so was South VBietnam, so was South Korea.

Some South East Asian nations who are relying on foreign military powers should be careful. they should never forget vitorious Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.

Thailand is in jeorpady. Acceptingt the visit of George W Bush and the First lady ( Laura ) to Thailand will be its death warrant link with US aid to Thailand.

Olympic games are coming up in Beiging. CHina expects provovations like this by US and others but P.R of China is not a fool you know.
