Cyclone disaster is a “ Sunngyi Loung Bwe “ for everybody. This word is understood by Myanmar but not by not Myanmars.

It is common where there is disaster, somebody somewhere make a fortune. Where there is a war somebody some where make a fortune.

So somebody somewhere always create disaster, they always create wars and they make fortunes.

They make their fortune out of some peoples miseries.

Fortune hunters are those who create disasters , who create wars.

These creators are human beings, but no animals. Some times animals may cause accidents, which create disasters but very rare. The animals never create wars. Some times we see wars among animal groups They have no intention to harm anyone, they have no intension to create miseries for anyone. But of all beings only human beings deliberately cause disaster by deliberately creating wars and miseries for other fellow human beings. When these are cause or created delibrately, human as well as animals suffer.

And we called ourselves human beings. We are better than animals, we are proud of being human beings. we called our civilised.

Don’t we know them all, but what can we do about that?

Small scale fortune makers, in Myanmar word is “NgoZar -Ye Zar”, whoever lives or whoever dies, somebody is making his/her tummy full up. Laws, whether they win the case or not, they are paid handsomely. The monks or the priest, they go to funerals, they go to weddings, they go to birthday parties , Christening or Kinbuntat in Myanmar.
Medical doctors, they get paid, whether their patient lives or dies. There are no shortage of patients in their profession. Undertakers, and their business coffin makers has no worries .

Cyclone disaster in Myanmar is caused by nature, people are in trouble, people are in misery, people are in difficulties. But there are lots of people who are making fortune out of it.

International organizations came to rescue, asking money from sympathisers, from those who may have compassion. Nation popped out to take credits, declaring, promising that they will donate so much, blah, blah ,towards the distso called whether they really do it or not I don’t know. “ Htamin Yeybu Lar Sher Hllwe “ is another Myanmar word, the nearest, is, given excuses.

Newly set up charity organisations inside and outside of Myanmar popped out and collecting funds in the name of Nargis disaster. Whether they register as charity organisations or not but they are collecting monies, raising funds. To where these monies , funds goes. Buddha alone knows.

Raising funds for charity, is good to hear. Raising funds for cyclone victims in Myanmar is very sweet While they are raising, they are making fortune for themselves as well politically, economically, socially.

Who is going to check them what they do with these monies, you or I or who? Who is going to ask or urged the authority to investigate? Who will call in the fraud squad to investigate ? As soon as you do that, they will accused you something all say you are not human , you have no sympathy, you have no compassion.

In London and around England many Myanmars citizen or not, establishing charity organisations by themselves, register or not , does anybody care, who cares? Myanmrs believe in freedom.

The agreement between Britain and Myanmar on not to double tax still exits. Myanmars working in England does not pay tax to Myanmar only in England because of this agreement . Or for other reasons. which is if they don’t pay tax in England they will have no benefits of any kind, if they don contribute National Insurance. They have to bar the cost of their healthcare. Even they pay tax or National Health contribution to Myanmar, they will not enjoy benefits from Myanmar for many reasons , not excuses.

That is what is happening in Myanmar no contribution towards their healthcare, so nobody care for them except for real emergency. Myanmrs have do not understand how the systems work in developed countries. But they expect too much from the government , , free anything free without their contribution to the nation. They evn accuse the government for mishandling the economy

Before the disaster. just to evade tax for their income to be exempt from tax. Myanmare will find loop holes .

Many Myanmar Buddhist monks go round the world. Collecting funds as alms, went back to Myanmar without declaring how much funds they have collected or how much in foreign exchange( currency ) The Phone Gyis got away with even murders. Some times, Myanmar citizens and Phone Gyis form alliance e under the name of charity running a business a big business.

Let me go back to cyclone in Myanmar . This Nargis killed many people, makes many people poorer, many people suffer, brought miseries to the people to the nation . The scale may be big the scale may be small, but some people are making fortune alright.

Totally agree with you. Monks in foreign countries (or exiles because they fled the country after September events and got asylum or they may be living illegally- no idea) at least where I live are behaving that way, however they cannot get much money because the ordinary Myanmars do not trust them so they do not give any money to them not only to the Monks but also to the exile community.
However some monks are getting much money because they have already built a large connection in exile community – money does not come from ordinary Myanmar citizens but from the help of some celebrities and exiles community.
How these money go to the Myanmar is so much questionable – but as everybody knows from the illegal channels – then these money go to NLD, student activists and so call human right defenders – then they go to the delta – they make charity under the name of NLD, student unions in order to promote the respective organizations. Some of them are distributing anti-government documents together with food – then they are arrested – then the Human Right watch orgs or exiles orgs shout aloud and protesting – the government is arresting the aid workers.
In fact they are not aid workers but they are provoking the unrests in profit of disaster with illegal money they have received from monks and exiles abroad.
There are many kinds profits – economically and politically – too much.

its really interesting to see the way they(socalled democampers) operate. I see some myanmar shops overseas collecting donation and many others under various org names!!! well, commie tried and failed,coloured insurgents tried and failed, pyipyae tried and failed and as we all know, tatmadaw and myanmar nai-ngan-taw is still here, bay-dar-pyan an-ko-khel PenPan lywet pel!!! they should know why and they should learn how to behave if they really love Myanmar Pyi and its people! but I really doubt these loud-mouth with lowlife attitude will ever learn.

Dear Patriots,

It is time and it is a good idea, and I recommand that Charity Commission in respective countries should look into the matter seriously, investigate, take necessary actions against fakes, make shift charity organations, embazzelments, misappropretions and frauds.

Especially Myanmar exile society abroad including Buddhist monks, they are fakes, boguses. Other people or layman, they are fake political asylum seekers, who are criminal escaped from Myanmar.

Some Myanmar Buddhist monastries are renting out rooms to those who donated money to establish that monastery and running busin.

Most of the monastry are run by the " Gawpaka Aphwe " to show democracy or administration committee, exacutives, consists of exciled oppositions members.

The moneis may go to the victims of cyclone, some of them may go to insurgents armed group they dont have to worry about food or shelters, they only need arms, to create more miseries.

Who are selling arms to them , who are making fortunes, is anybody guess.

The so called Red Indians, the native tribes in the Americas were traded gold with sold guns and whiskey. The native took guns to defend their rights. Later they were known as savages, hostiles and they were beatened. In the end they became musium piece, they became tourists attractions, nothing else.

This is an old story may be, but never bored, because it is the truth. it gives us many good lessons, how big people bigger, and how small people become smaller. Some times some big people can become small. Mainly because of their own little people who wants to be small.

If we were not wise before, we should be wise now. This is 21 centuty, we should know what is a magic and what is a trick.

If we don't know even that, we should not call ourselve human being . Bcause our knowledge is noit better then some animal yet. Becus ther are many animals who are much wiser, cleverer than us.
