More aid for Myanmar is needed. 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: -5
UN seeks $300 mln more cyclone aid for Myanmar AlertNet - 10 Jul 04:58PM
Source: Reuters By Patrick Worsnip

UNITED NATIONS, July 10 (Reuters) - The United Nations appealed on Thursday for more than $300 million in additional aid for Myanmar to cope with the effects of a cyclone two.
---------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------Dear Patriots,

The news has said it all . 13 UN agencies, 23 NGOs, asking for more aid for Myanmar.

Myanmar needs aid, and assistances of any kind , there is no doubt about it. Myanmar is register as one of the least development nation in the world .

Myanmar does not need those pissing air, for the sake of pissing, for the sake of showing they care.
.
If these aid and assistance turn out to be investments in infrastructure of Myanmar and for the long term developments of the nation, to create jobs for those who needs it, would be great , very great, it will be over the moon for Myanmars.

Myanmar (SPDC) has welcome the aid with caution, of cause. Caution is needed because of whatever is happening in the world. Caution is needed because of the attitude of some western nations, their behaviour towards Myanmar (SPDC). Any nation, in such a position as Myanmar will have that caution . Besides, whatever we do we need caution. Everybody can understand.

It is obvious, apparently in the wake of Myanmar opposition inside and out side of Myanmar . They are taking cyclone disaster as if they are winning National Lottery first prize.

I am not here to patronised anybody, especially to those people in UN, to those people in other donor nations who called themselves International Community.

Thanks to Mr. John holms, for being so considerate. But with due respect , I would like to put some questions to him and others.

How much of that $178 million aid have reached to the people who need them in Myanmar, how much of that aid is left after pay, wages and expanses have been deducted for so called volunteer workers in the UN agencies or in the NGOs. Did they come with their own funds or where did they get the extra monies to cover their expenses, who provided them food , shelters and medical care? Myanmars like me would like to know.

According to some Myanmar opposition and some western nations, who are against SPDC, there is no such thing as volunteers, they all are one way or the other forced labours, if they are not paid accordingly.

Are they aiding Myanmars or are they aiding themselves by creating problems everywhere and creating permanent jobs for themselves only?

Humanitarian has no discrimination, no colour, no race. but we Myanmars those who are law abiding citizens would not like to see UN or NGOs or International community aiding those rebels and insurgents armed group and their sympathizers in especially in Mon State or in Kayin State or at Thai - Myanmar Border who enlisted as so called refugees. Refugees man anything, political, economical or they are fake and bogus refugees .

It is the best to turn these aid for long term investments in Myanmar, for the development of Myanmar, so that there will be no more refugees of any kind.

In Myanmar there are 57 million inhabitants who need aid, not because of cyclone , not just only 2.5 million people which effected by the cyclone. Cyclone is the natural disaster. The cyclone created by Ma Su Kyi and opposition is much worse than Nargis. That woman made cyclone is going on in Myanmar for twenty years, it has not stop, Myanmar has not escaped yet. Thanks to International Community, thanks to United Nations. Thanks to Sec. Gen Ben Ki Moon. Who is the IC, UN and NGOs were aiding before the cyclone Nargis struck Myanmar?

There are many countries same as Myanmar which need aid, helps and investments. They all have problems and troubles.

It is time over due that the so called experts, intellectuals and academics to open both their eyes and both their ears and they should know without bias who created all these problems and troubles. With reasons or with excuses.

oThen the world will be a better place for all of US.

Regards,

Thunderebolts.

Dear Patriots & exodus25,

“ Myanmar doesn't need any aids“
.
That is true, Myanmar doesn’t need any aids or any HIV positive .
That is why Myanmar needs aid, among them in a form of pharmaceutical factory to produce necessary medicines in Myanmar.

“ There are many people like, Mg Weigh, Tar Zar and other drugs dealers. They are rich“

Mg Weigh , Tar Zar, I don’t know, who are they? I have seen Tarzan film when I was young. How do you know they are rich people? Do you have their details with proofs and evidences? There are millionaires and billionaires in Myanmar like in any country. I do not know what they are doing with their monies. No matter how rich they are , their money is not enough to help 57 million people or to develop Myanmar which has 261,789 square miles. There is nothing much they can do with their money

Do you know how European nations in the so called European Community or EU help each other? Do you know how G* club nations help each other? Why don’t you find out and tell us.

Anyway, what’s got to do with them being rich? There is somebody called Tay Za in Myanmar not Tar Zar if you are trying to talk about the same person.

You don’t have to be rich to help Myanmar. There are many means and ways you can help Myanmar with. If you really want to help. Of course where money matters most, money is useful.

What other drug dealers ? Can you name one or two of them?

There are some who were once drug dealers who are going straight, now. They are now with their legit business and helping building Myanmar . Drug trafficking is in Shan States run by the Shan Tayotes private army. They were supported by the United States of America. In Golden Triangle . United States and Myanmar drug control agencies are watching them closely. If there still drug dealers , these agencies must be responsible, what are they doing? Having their cuts? You have tom proof it again.

There will always be rich people , there will always be who are richer than you or me. The rich can help the poor , the poor can help the rich , but the rich cannot abolish the poverty, the poor cannot abolish the poverty either, for sure.

There were some beliefs , even some Buddhist Monks believe, and they are saying to their devotees that if there are no rich people , Buddhism would not have survived.

There is a G8 club, the world’s richest Christian nations, not to mention about Pope in Vatican the richest man in the world. Christians collect funds and support the Churches, Saudi Arabia is the richest land, but Muslims collect the money and support the Mosques, and so are other faiths.

Mg Weigh or Tay Zar or late Khun Sa, Lao Sit Hang or Ywet-sit or Ywet-Houng or who and whatever they are in Myanmar. There are lots of drug dealers all over the world in almost every country rich or poor. The whole list of it. Some we know some we don’t. We know there are thieves, and dacoits and robbers , rapist and murderers in the world as well. Some are really bad people , criminals , and some good people are put on the list of bad people, because somebody do not like them., especially by powerful people. Well, it could be said that, that is the real world we live in.

Some people are saying that United States invaded Iraq to get oil, but when US and
its allies invaded Afghanistan, it was to get opium, the most lucrative . Not to forget late Khun Za was supported by the United States of America and his drug trading as legitimate business. Who are running drug business in the Americas? Mafia of Italy, Yakuza of Japan, who are they? Who are doing business with, or business connection with Mg Weigh or Tay Za?

Here I am not discussing about these drug business. I am talking about helping the cyclone victim in Myanmar , and to rebuild the damaged or devastated areas for the long term. How it would be best to aid or help Myanmar or in a right way.

I think most people understand what I was saying. That is all it matters.

Thunderbolts.

Burmese people don't need aids. They just needed to release from the curse since 1888.
They need to suffer what they did at past.
After the curse is over, everything will be fine.
