The reason I ask the meaning of the word "Burma/Myanmar" is when ever there's a problem we must know why, when, where, what the problem is and try and find good solution to solve the problem. IF we don't even know the problem how on earth can we solve that problem? That's why I started with the "name" of the country and how different we understand it. I do not expect 2 persons with the same answer for no 2 person (including twins) think the same BUT we do have to understand the meaning to start with.
I am trying to find solutions to solve problems tbat many did not understand or notice. My inspirational scientist is Professor Einstein. I want to explore the possibilities of finding "good" solutions.
OK, let me present MY own independent pure and genuine understanding on the word "Burma/Myanmar"( the name difference doesn't affect me). To me, BURMA/MYANMAR means in our time a land area ( 261,228 sq miles) in size bordered by countries namely Bangladesh, India, China, Laos, Thailand AND Bay of Bengal/Andaman Sea/Indian Ocean. BURMA/MYANMAR means that particular land that I mention and "anything/everything in it" which means all the forests, mountains, rivers, animals (land or water) etc but most important of all is the humans, more than 135 ethnic races within it. Within that boundary that I had mention, all living things, plants, animals and humans are "subject" or "belong" to a named called BURMA/MYANMAR.
Just as Than Shwe lives in a palace in Naypyidaw and eats, sleeps, walks and so on, any person who lives within that boudary also eats, sleeps, walks too. The difference is Than Shwe lives in Naypyidaw and had power and wealth while the others live in different places or even in a forest or in a hut and mostly with no wealth or power. What I meant is that ALL are subjects to BURMA/MYANMAR.
Will stop for now.
