Dear learner man,
This is strange, really strange. I look up at your profile and I cannot find. You had posted just once and you vanished in the thin air?. Are you one of the messengers that belongs to God? After all these years (since 2001 to date) I had never seen or read a very interesting and worth reading article like yours and then you vanished? Any way, either you vanished or temporary suspended, here’s my response to your post………………….
Very important: human behaviour, disasters, God, and Burma. Please respond. 1 Hour, 1 Minute ago Karma: 0
I have been looking into disasters and researching them.
You are one of the few who did the research where many people ignore. You are indeed an intelligent human being.
I would like to look at some interesting events, leading up to the disaster and after, and I humbly ask to be corrected, as I am very ignorant of Myamars history and have only some news articles to go by. But I would like information regarding human abuse leading up to the disaster.
And I ask as you read this ask, if there is a loving strong powerful protector God, would this make him upset?
Myanmar’s history is violent and volatile in the past and present. True Christians are minority and the majority are Buddhist and Christians have been despised, disregard and oppressed for many Centuries since the Burmese kings copy the Indian related Buddhism culture into this land. Burmese still wears “longyis” like the Indians and Burmese food is very much like Indians where rice and curry is their main course/entry not to mention most of these foods are hot and spicy. It is about time the Christians’ God punished them severely. The following postings of yours reveal the nature of Burmese military treatment towards their minority ethnics. Now, the Tatmadaw as they called the military is totally changed since the first dictator of Burma took over the nation at gun point. The tatmadaw that use to be is no more. Now the Tatmadaw under the current dictators are worst than the previous one and the sole duty of the Tatmadaw is to oppressed its own people at will with no mercy or generosity. The following statements of yours reveal it, prove it.
- its history and the genocide of minority groups:
"Ten villagers, one only three-years-old, lie dead, hunted down by the army and shot. A settlement is razed to the ground after a military raid. These are rare images, all taken at great personal risk, of life and death in eastern Burma in recent years. For much of the last few decades, unseen by the outside world, the region has been ablaze. Human rights researchers believe more than 2,500 villages have been destroyed by the armed forces of the Burmese military junta.
More than half a million people have fled to the jungle or been forced into the Government's relocation camps. They all belong to Burma's ethnic minorities, accused by the Government of sheltering separatist rebels.
When the Burmese army moves into a village, what we normally see is people will run and try and flee. They're often shot in small numbers as they try to do so. One village I was in, two toddlers who had been left behind had been thrown into the flames to die. An old lady who couldn't run was burned to death when the village was burnt down. The villages are burnt down, the animals are destroyed and the village is looted and pillaged. Almost everything is destroyed. In fact, I should correct that. Everything is destroyed."

(who will protect them?)
"On September 26 to 27, Myanmar's junta unleashed its troops on hundreds of Buddhist monks who had led anti-government protests in Yangon, sending thugs to beat and round up the protectors of Myanmar's national religion.
The brutal onslaught, that left at least 31 dead, enraged Myanmar's predominantly Buddhist population against their rulers and drew harsh criticism from the international community."
(human life not treated with respect - I am interested if this bears any similarity to the China situation before the earthquake)
- general wickedness:
-- "Whatever you need we can take care of, gambling, drugs, girls — all of it can be arranged," a former casino employee surnamed Wang said as he escorted an AFP journalist past Myanmar border guards to Maijayang.
Protection money is paid to Kachin soldiers but Chinese police also turn a blind eye to the hundreds of daily border violations in return for a piece of the action.

- The government strong grasp:
"The new constitution promised to institutionalize the dominant rule of the military in Myanmar's future political system, and exclude Suu Kyi on the grounds that she was married to a foreigner, the late Oxford professor Michael Aris.
The country has been ruled by the military since 1962
Bangkok/Yangon - Cyclone Nargis, which pounded central Myanmar over the weekend leaving at least 351 people dead and the country's largest city paralyzed, may force the ruling junta to rethink their plans to hold a referendum next Saturday.
The referendum on May 10 will decide the fate of Myanmar's new constitution, a document that promises to cement the military's dominant role in the country's politics following the next general election scheduled some time in 2010."
"It's a catastrophe," said one western diplomat. "Almost all the electricity poles were blown down. It will take weeks to repair. I don't see how you can conduct a referendum under those conditions."
(note the timing of the cyclone! could it be that God does not approve of the referendum?)
(Yet they went ahead and some warned that it would be costly on human life - this was a mistake I believe)
1 day later:
"The International Federation and Myanmar Red Cross aid effort to survivors of Cyclone Nargis suffered a blow early on Sunday 11 May when the first aid shipment travelling by river to the disaster area sank.
It is believed that the cargo ship carrying relief supplies for over 1,000 people hit a submerged tree trunk and started taking on water. The crew steered to an island but the boat sank rapidly. All crew members, including four Myanmar Red Cross relief workers on board – Tun Tun Win, Wu Shein, San San Win and Kyu Kyu Win, two men and two women – managed to get to safety."

So you see learner man, God had waited more than 4 decades of patience but God chooses the right time and the right place. Those Buddhists who despised and make fun of Christians have to dearly pay for there may be tens of thousands even millions of Buddhists will be affected either by so called natural disaster or man made disaster (by ruling junta). It can be a double punishment or curse for the Burmese. Of course there will be some Christians involved or suffer but their souls will be save by God. God had his plan. What man may propose God disposed. This is the fact and the truth. By the way when God punished Burma he also punished the Guardian of junta >>> Communist China. Within 10 days tens of thousands of Chinese and Burmese died with extreme pain. One is the earthquake and the other is the cyclone.
In a way God had to ‘refurbished’ the earth where many anti-God dwells. I even worry about USA for USA is fast becoming materialistic world and waging war on Christians, and taking God out of their lives. When I first migrate to USA, when I first saw the US money with the words “ONE NATION UNDER GOD” I am so grateful and excited to migrate into the nation where God is above all. Now, I’m not so sure and there are many atheists and non Christians embolden within this nation that it may reach to a point where God will punished America. In fact I see America’s power vanishing slowly.
Many people do not believe in a God. I would like to suggest that there is one.
My learning of him I have noted He does not like it when:
>human life is not valued,
>when people show no value for what He has said is highly valuable.
>when people are treated unfairly,
>when no love is shown,
>when minority groups are trampled down,
>when his ambassadors and workers are shut up and prevented from doing his important work.
I am asking for help and seeing if the places that are hit with disasters match this pattern.
It is my fear if there is not aduquate change in Myanmar, that is pleasing to God, more lives will be lost.
You’ve said it all right man. Keep on the research for research are for those who dare to find answers to question and face on the challenge.
