WHO I AM ?
I AM HUA GUOFENG, THE SUCCESSOR OF MAO ZEDONG
I was born on February 16, 1921 with the name of Su Zhu in Shanxi province
I joined the Communist Party of China (CCP) in 1938 as a part of counter-Japanese resistance, after having joined the Long March in 1936. After having served in the 8th Route Army during 12 years under General Zhu De's command, I became propaganda chief for a county Party committee in 1947.
I moved with the PLA to Hunan in 1949 and remained there as a local official until 1971. I participated in the 1959 Lushan Conference as a member of the Hunan Provincial Party delegation, defending communes and the Great Leap Forward. Shortly thereafter, I was named provincial party secretary and was elected a Full member of the 9th Central Committee in 1969.
After Zhou Enlai's death in on January 8, 1976, I succeeded him as Premier of the People's Republic of China. Before his death, on September 9, the same year Mao Zedong named me as his heir for chairmanship of the Communist Party of China, to the dismay of the ultra-left led by Mao’s wife Jiang Qing and the Gang of Four who, on October 6th, less than a month after Mao's death, I ordered the arrest as a deal with reformists
But because of my insistence on continuing the Maoist line (I wanted to think, to speak and to act as Mao) , so I was an obstacle for the reformists led by Deng Xiaoping. I was myself outmaneuvered when they took control of the party in December 1978 and progressively obliged me into early retirement giving up the premiership to Zhao Ziyang in September 1980, then the chairmanship to Hu Yaobang one year later with Deng Xiaoping as the real power behind the curtain. In 2002, I officially lost my seat on the Central Committee of the CCP
I passed away on August 20, 2008 in apparent obscurity with no big ceremony for my funerals

WHO I AM ?
I AM DITH PRAN, CAMBODIAN PHOTOJOURNALIST (THE KILLING FIELD)
Born on September 27, 1942, in Angkor Wath, famous for its historic temples, I worked in the tourist business until the war spilled over from Vietnam. I then found work as a war correspondent.
Times correspondent, I covered the encroaching civil war in Cambodia from 1972 to 1975. While Americans and Cambodian dependents were evacuated from Phnom Penh on April 12, 1975, we stayed to cover the fall of the capital to the communist Khmer Rouge.
Shortly after the takeover, I saved the life of Sydney and two other journalists held for execution by persuading the Khmer Rouge that the three Westerners were neutral French journalists and took refuge in the French embassy.
Exiled to the killing fields, the forced labor camps in the Cambodian countryside, I endured four years of starvation and torture. In October of 1979, I escaped to Thailand and to freedom. But the Cambodian holocaust has changed my life forever when I lost over 50 relatives by the Khmer Rouge, including my father, three brothers, one sister, and my mother died later of malnutrition.
From 1980, I worked as a photojournalist with The New York Times in the United States, and in 1986, I became an American citizen. My wartime life was portrayed in the award-winning movie, The Killing Fields.(1984) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Killing_Fields_(film)
I also campaigned for recognition of the Cambodian Genocide victims, especially as founder and president of The Dith Pran Holocaust Awareness Project and as Goodwill Ambassador by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees since 1985
I Used to say: “Part of my life is saving life. I don't consider myself a politician or a hero. I'm a messenger. If Cambodia is to survive, she needs many voices.”

WHO I AM ?
I AM CHIANG WEI-KUO (OR WEGO CHIANG) ADOPTIVE SON OF PRESIDENT CHIANG KAI-SEK
I was born in Tokyo on October 6, 1916 when Chiang Kai-shek and the KMT was exiled to Japan by the Beiyang Government. I have long been speculated to be an offspring of Tai Chi-tao and a Japanese woman, Shigematsu Kaneko. According to popular gossip, Tai believed knowledge of his Japanese tryst would destroy his marriage and his career. Yao Yecheng , Chiang's wife at the time, raised me as her own and I called Tai my "Dear Uncle" While I previously discredited any such claims and insisted I was a legitimate son of Chiang Kai-shek until my later years(1988), when I admitted that I was adopted by President Chiang Kai-shek.
I studied at Soochow University, then Chiang sent me to Germany for a military education at the Munich Military Academy. I completed specialized Alpine warfare training, thus earning the coveted Gebirgsjäger (The elite Wehrmacht Mountain Troop) Edelweiss sleeve insignia. I was promoted to Unteroffizier, also known as Fahnenjunker, or Officer Candidate (see picture)
I commanded a Panzer during the 1938 Austrian Anschluss, leading a tank into that country; subsequently, I was promoted to Lieutenant of a Panzer unit awaiting to be sent into Poland. Before I was given the mobilization order, I was recalled to China.
There, I became a Major at 28, a Lieutenant Colonel at 29, a Colonel at 32, and later, a Major General. I was in charge of a M4 Sherman tank battalion during 1948 Nationalist-Communist campaign against Deng Xiaoping's troops, scoring some early victories. In 1949 I moved my armor regiment to Taiwan.
In 1957, after my first wife died, I re-married, to Chiu Ju-hsüeh , also known as Chiu Ai-lun, a daughter of Chinese and German parents. Chiu gave birth to my only son.
After my half brother Chiang Ching-kuo's death, I was a political rival of native Taiwanese Lee Teng-hui, and I strongly opposed Lee's Taiwan localization movement. I ran as vice-president with Taiwan Governor Lin Yang-kang in the 1990 presidential election, but we lost.
I had very bad relation with Chiang Kai-shek second wife and widow Soong May-ling
I died on September 22, 1997)at the age of 82 from kidney failure.

26 October 2008
I AM JOSHUA BENJAMIN JEYARETNAM, OLDEST OPPOSITION LEADER IN SINGAPORE
Here is the explanation given by Limsing1958
I am Joshua Benjamin Jeyaretnam, born January 5, 1926 in Jaffna, Ceylon, now Sri Lanka. I was trained as a lawyer in the University College London, England before making Singapore my permanent home.
I was the leader of the Worker's Party of Singapore and in 1981 I won the Anson Parliamentary seat, thus breaking the People's Action Party's monopoly on power to become Singapore's first opposition MP. I won the same seat again in 1984.
I was a severe critic of the one-party state system of Singapore and became a thorn in the side of Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew. My quixotic efforts to effect political and social change in Singapore have even earned me the title "the Grand Old Man of opposition politics".
To get rid of me the PAP successfully brought me down through a series of politically-motivated legal charges. In 1986, I was expelled from the legislature until 1991 and disbarred from legal practice. By 2000 I was declared bankrupt when I failed to keep up payments in a series of libel cases, such as the charges of having defamed prime minister Goh Chok-tong and ten other members of the PAP

WHO I AM ?
I AM GAO XINGJIAN, FIRST AND ONLY ONE CHINESE NOBEL PRIZE FOR LITERATURE
Born on January 4, 1940, my mother was an amateur actress who stimulated my interest in the theatre and writing. I got a degree in French in 1962. During the Cultural Revolution (1966-76) I was sent to a re-education camp and felt it necessary to burn a suitcase full of manuscripts. Not until 1979 could I publish my work and travel abroad, to France and Italy as a painter
During the period 1980-87 I published short stories, essays and dramas in literary magazines in China and also four books which gave rise to a violent polemic on "modernism" particulary In Search of a Modern Form of Dramatic Representation (1987).
Several of my experimental and pioneering plays - inspired in part by Brecht, Artaud and Beckett - were produced at the Theatre of Popular Art in Beijing. My theatrical debut with Signal Alarm (1982) was a tempestuous success, and the absurd drama which established my Bus Stop (1983) was condemned during the campaign against "intellectual pollution". Wild Man (1985) also gave rise to heated domestic polemic and international attention
In 1986, The Other Shore was banned and since then none of my plays have been performed in China. To avoid harassment I left China and settled down in Paris 1988. After publication of Fugitives, which takes place against the background of the massacre of Tiananmen Square, I was declared persona non grata by the regime and my works were banned. I got French citizenship in 1998 where I write in French and Chinese while painting a lot. My main novel is Soul Mountain, completed in 1989
I'm not involved in politics, but that does not prevent me from criticizing the policies of Communist China. I say what I want to say. If I have chosen to live in exile, it is to be able to express myself freely without constraint
The Chinese communist authorities always complained that never a Chinese author has been selected for Nobel Prize in literature. When I got it in 2000 they were furious. After the decision of the Nobel committee China's Foreign Ministry called the award a political maneuver the nation took no pride in
