I just wanted to add, since i am most interested

that small photos are preferable to enable all
a quick access to general readers.

it is true that videos are "heavy"
it is true that other computers will
find it hard to open the front page
if large pictures and more videos are
posted

not because AO's memory is being filled up
but because numerous codes are deciphered
by our site-

weak computers will find it difficult
and will have a hard time opening the page
in contrast to strong computers where
net pages and windows are easily opened.
(a matter of priority)

talking about large images
AO can slim it down in the prefered
size, when setting a default to
let say 200 kb only-

all in all a matter of weak
and strong computers, not unless
the admins would opt to restrain
all large images and video clips
in the front page according to the
database- or space "bought"-

and that is understandable

hope to hear from the admin office
