Around one month ago, almost all my the pictures and cartoons disappeared on A.O. In fact, the then webmaster had reduce the size of pictures, so mine became too large. He told me that we have to reduce the size of the A.O. website or to pay much more.

So, I suggest to suppress the videos on front page, which are very very much heavy than pictures, and that videos could be seen by a a link in the forums.

By the way, I remind the A.O. members to chose small size picture when using Flickr to insert pictures in shared articles

I don't think that the memory bytes of AO is affected

firstly- it is just a link which one domain gives it back
in the form of codes. If we make flickr as an example-
flickr gets the memory load because they make the codes
so the images are stored in flickr memory not AO-

when the images from flickr are posted to another domain like
AO- the codes generate the image which the mmemory bytes of flickr gives
not AO, AO, is only a recipient-

the same holds true with video clips
and slides- the same principles operate
when we make you tube as an example for video clips
you tube generates the code not AO-
we donot use up AO memory when posting such
we just give codes.

When the webmaster suggested small pictures are preferable
that only means, AO wanted to maximize the space for more
pictures. The smaller the photos the more it can accomodate
in the page- excluding the database-

There is no problem for videos or images-
one proof is when we try to post them
they appear in the front page-
