PEOPLE'S POWER ORDERLY EXCERCISED?. 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: -3
Daer Patriots,

People’s power has been exercised orderly outside Myanmar by the Myanmars.

The polling station at Myanmar Embassy in London opened at 09:00 A.M on Saturday 26th April. People started arriving from 09:30 and casting their votes. Some arriving with Pinni Teikpon on, not necessarily NLD. To exercise their rights, human rights.

There were 12 to 15 young people outside Myanmar Embassy, wearing red head bands with yellow fighting peacock on. Shouting , singing anti SPDC, anti referendum They were watched by Police, from diplomatic protecting group to see everything was in order. It may be yellow peacock, but they are not yellow, they were exercising their rights as well , though peacefully, there were some small harassment and verbal abuses at those who came to exercise their human rights, to perform a citizen duty, as well..

Procedures were very simple and straight forward. Identify your self with your passports, the authorities will check against the eligible list. You have to sign in. And then you will be given a ballot paper together with an envelope Take them to a cabin in far away corner where there was nobody, but you . Sit down and think. Tick if you approve the constitution, cross if you don’t. Just go according to what your conscience tells you. You are a freeman/free woman. After that put the ballot paper in the envelope and seal it. Cast it into the ballot box. Nobody know what you have done on your ballot paper .

This may be look upon as small matter by some. That is because they don’t know the value of it. Some stayed away for all sorts of reasons or excuses.

But you have done a great job , by voting against or for the referendum. You have done your first duty for your nation. You have done your part . You have exercise your right, human right, rightly. The country is in your hand. Your one vote, whatever it was, will decide the future of the nation of Myanmar, which is your own future, to shape the nation the way you want it. That is the beginning, that is the good start. You have had your right to say.

Myanmar saying is “ Ahsa Koung Mha Ahnhoung Thay Jar.” Good start will bring good result.

There are thousands of Myanmar national living abroad in various country, legally or illegally, Some of those who came out of Myanmar holding Myanmar passports did not register at the Embassy as necessary, Those Myanmars who did not informed their arrival in the respective country to the Myanmar Embassy for their own reasons. They are not on the records of Myanmar Embassy. Those who did not make any attempt to contact Myanmar embassy may not be on the list who are eligible to vote. There are those who don’t care to keep in touch with the Myanmar Embassy. Some of them thought as soon they left Myanmar Air space they are free and they have nothing to do with Myanmar.

For that Myanmar Embassy has a notice on board at the Embassy , welcoming them to the referendum. Sent out necessary information through invitations to all Myanmars that all of them are welcome to cast a vote.

One exemption is , those who are not eligible to vote could not vote. Those are the people who made themselves free from the laws of the land called Union of Myanmar. They are not responsible for Myanmar and Myanmar is not responsible for them That is fair enough.

In London, polling station was supposed to close at 17:00 P.M. on Monday 28th April at 17:00 P.M. But for those who could not make it in time, for they have to come down from Scotland, or from Wales and Ireland , it is extended to Tuesday 29th April till 17:00. P.M.

At least these people are putting their effects in to vote YES or NO according to their conscience to referendum . That is what the sprit should be. These are the dutiful citizens.

Regards,

Thunderbolts.
