Jacques

Your asian history…?
Vietnam gets….?
Heroes…?
…a friend to free country…?

Do I need to clarify why British & French were there and around the world during those days. Shall I need to explain more? All is said and done, occupation was occupation. They made profits from waging wars, killing tens of thousands of innocent people including childrean, women and elderly people. Making colonies couldn’t be overlooked by communist threat, it’s rather rooted and formulated to make profitable business in order to make rich and richer well before communist system was implemented. Then, more importantly, who could possibly justify that capitalist was right at that time and one and only system we had to have. Is that YOU, and your choice? Of course, they got to sell out some good reasons to cover up their real intention and core business. How many French speaking countries and Commonwealth countries, do you realize it? Capitalists built their economic power in the expense of innocent tears, blood and lives in those days. In fact, I personally felt that it was genocide, mass murder, bloodbath you name it ma’an! Who can deny these FACTs?

Heroes???
What was that? One’s evil is just another man hero: a way of life so-called reality, remember? I would agree to disagree and I would also try to understand your admiration and all these stuffs like how a country gets rich by making others colonies and so on. Then, again what’s the moral ground and I do believe that it’s rather our responsibilities – yes our responsibilities to protect innocent people who know nothing about politics.

By the way, capitalists get rich and richer in those days: what were the reasons for making their colonies? Were they there for just fun? It was just to fight communist? Shall we connect these dots to check some realities?

You said 'But what about the topic I rised in this forum ?'

Of course, forum to discuss in English. How could we achieve and make better discussion when we could not even improve our English. Some wrong messages were sent out and misinterpreted several times before. It’s rather my good intention to highlight on behalf of all forum users. Did I make a mistake? What do you think?

Kind regards

Dear mg Than,

Just three points

1 – We can discuss days and nights on the origin and consequence of colonialism, with its good and bad sides. But for Dien Bien Phu battle, I was a child. Every day we were listening the news. No TV at this time. Yes I feel closed to these young men, peasants and workers sent to lost their live for nothing
2 – You are right, on an international website, it is necessary to write in proper English. As you know, I am very active on A.O. for free and I have not only that to do. So for “On this day” read by 900 people a day or my chronics, I take care and my French-English dictionary is burning, but when I just answer to a member on (in ?) a forum, I do it quickly and forget to check what I have written. I apologize for that
3 – The purpose of this forum was just to attract the attention of A.O. Burmese members on this week “who I am ?” because the man is a Burmese. The only thing I got is remarks on my bad English

Colonialism???
People gone mad when multiculturism gone stormy and people with eagle eyes could feel new wave of colonialism somewhat. For instance, kind of main stream media could have slaughtered tens of thousands of people. The world is more and more tyrannized and being processed of making rich and poor gap bigger than ever. Nowadays, very powerful leader of the world underscores the utter falsity of the argument that we will import our democracy that is also your interests of freedom and liberty, these are uniquely and perpetually in perfect alignment. How could we possibly resist these superb doctrines of this new era without reality check home work?

Jac,
Thank you ever so much for learning something from you too. In future, I would also try to reframe in order inject relevant stuffs under respective topics in future. This time around, I’m sorry! Nonetheless, that’s very kind of YOU!

Kind regards,

Dear Jacques,

Thanks for scoring me for "Who I am" even if i did not rely officially.
BTW I saw only few people could replied to the question.
That's mean Myanmar is still little known even among the Asians countries.
Or Asians people are not really interested in ASia's history and political events.

best regards,
