With respect, I disagree strongly with linsi.

This is my perspective and perception:
I understand US President Bush had a strong personal (just like he had with Russian outgoing President Putin) relationship with Chinese Communist Party Boss or Bosses and during his “watch” China had become financial super power and US is facing recession with the intake of huge unfair trade surplus China “enjoys” with US (not to mention US is the borrower and China is the lender) and the “war on middle class” currently under way in US and it is NOT rewarding to home owners (I call them investors) who owns 2 or more houses for middle class people. IF, I am the President of USA (just a dream), I would certainly give tax breaks to people who owns “unlimited” houses encouraging to make 90% of Americans to become millionaires (not homeless/poor) not to mention the baby boomers are retiring soon and social security system is in jeopardy and want them to find their own ways to support themselves in becoming rich. The more houses or investments you make the more tax breaks or available credits you will get scenario. I want to encourage people to invest and NOT to discourage or punish people by more taxing them. I wouldn’t be surprise if President Bush goes to Beijing Olympic. Not at all. That’s his "personal" decision.
My point is this………………I know majority and many people around the world separate “politics” and “sports”. I know that, BUT if any person thinks carefully we as humans are conjoined to both “politics” AND “sports” for “humanity” is the fundamental foundation in which we as humans relies on. Humanity belongs to humans and as humans we have the right to conduct in a very human way of love and affection to those unfortunate fellow humans who are suffering in every day life. Call it any way you want but caring, loving, understanding, standing with the weak and sufferers are noble no matter which way one calls it either ‘politics” or “sports”. We as humans should not separate anything that belongs to humans in a very passionate compassionate understanding wise way which we all know as “humanity”. When I say “humanity” it includes all things that related to humans and that includes “Sports” and “politics”.

Best regard and respect,

Miramar, where "humanity" comes first above all.
