Nineteen years ago, this is what Ma Su Kyi had said on 15 January , 1989 at the NLD office in Kyone-ma nge in Ayeyawaddy Division. .

“ we are participating in the democratic movement not in order to gain power, but because it is our duty. The main word for us and for other people participation in the democratic movements, is not power. It is duty. We are participation in the democratic movement because we feel it is our duty towards the Union and towards our people.”

“ it is our duty “ ?
“ main word for us and other people participation is not power”?
“ towards the Union and towards our people ”

What has NLD been doing during these nineteen years. What has the followers of NLD have been doing these nineteen years?

Trying to get rid of SPDC and to gain power?
Is that their duty to making people of Myanmar suffer?
Is that their duty to deny the people Myanmar their human rights?
Is it their duty, to make the future generation pay for their mistakes?
Towards Union of Democratic Parties, under NLD?
Towards the people in the NLD as their people ?

Now more and more people want to see SPDC and NLD working together. Now they have a chance to work with SPDC. Ma Su Kyi herself said to Mr.Ibrahim Gambari that she will co operate with SPDC.

The New Constitution is designed for all people to sit together, to work together hand in hand for the nation , for the people.

The way things are going seem like NLD doesn't care what people want. NLD doesn't want to work with SPDC. Ma Su Kyi will not co operate with SPDC. She is determined to disrupt everything in everyway she can.

There is a chance to get rid of SPDC or military rule through the new constitution gradually, NLD doesn't want it either.

Ma Su Kyi said above their participation and others participation in the democratic movement was not to gain power.


Myanmar is not for one person. Ma Su Kyi is not Myanmar and Myanmar is not Ma Su Kyi.

Myanmar is not for one group of people. Myanmar is not NLD . NLD is not Myanmar.

What does Ma Su Kyi want? What does NLD want?

Why is she contradicting herself.
