Mongolia is a huge land lock nation between Russia in the north and China in the south. It is a central Asian nation that once rule an Empire that stretches from Asia to Europe to Middle East to South Asia. Never in human history a warlord named Genghis Khan the leader of Mongols had the military strategy that is so successful even today still uses his tactics. I am fascinated with the Mongols and their ultimate ruler/leader Genghis Khan. The very Great Wall of China is the evidence and proof of Chinese dynasties afraid from the nomad tribes and clans of northern neighbor Mongolia and her Mongols. The outer Mongolia was annex by China in 1691 and was given autonomy but the Mongols ousted the Chinese in 1911. Outer Mongolia remained a Chinese province but the Mongolian State accept Russian protection but unable to prevent the subsequent Chinese advance and in 1919 outer Mongolia once again fall to Chinese occupation. Finally in 1921 the Mongolians regain their territory from Chinese occupation after the combine forces of Soviet and Mongolian defeated the Chinese and declare Mongolian People’s Republic in 1924. In 1989 the Soviets agree to withdraw their troops for protection from Chinese aggression led to Mongolia’s multi party election in August 1990. A new Constitution was adopted declaring Mongolia as a Republic with Parliamentary Government in 1992.
