Dear MHK,
You sound like saying “ good bye ”.
Let me make myself very clear, if you don‘t mind. Under normal circumstance. I could agree with Dr. MWM. If needs be I am prepared to discuss with him or have a little bit of friendly debate.
We Myanmars used to be smart enough people MHK we were not “ inferior natives ” When British invaded Myanmar in 1824 they found out that Myanmar were not Zulu.
When King Thibaw proclaimed all Myanmars to rise up against British , it was not only too late but also because of the traitors inside.
Don’t say you do not care whichever group to take power. When you say that, you know you are lying to yourself. As long as you care for the nation, as long as you care for the people you have to care about the group. There are so many groups in Myanmar, please don’t forget that. Of course you care, I know you care. Otherwise why should you be here in this forum? Wasting time and money? It is worth it MHK, every second, every minute and every cent.
Remember “ You points are my points “ ? After that UKMyaing never came back to me. “ Your wishes are my command ”. what you want is what I want. We all want the same things for Myanmar , not for you, not for me, but for the people. What we want is to see Myanmar developed, to see Myanmar progressed. Myanmars to be first classed people. Myanmars deserve that.
The only thing Myanmar leaders do not agree is the methods of doing and who will do it. I am sorry to say Ma Su Kyi and NLD think and believe, that only their ways are right and they are the right people to do it. That is the dead lock.
Buddha went on “ Dukha Sariya ” for six years. Myanmar for the last sixty years were in Dukha Sariya , how many more years Ma Su Kyi wants Myanmars to suffer?
The deadlock should have broken on the first day National Convention was started. NLD had all the rights and chances , and opportunities to shape up Myanmar, TOGETHER with others. While calling Gen Than Shwe a dictator , while calling SPDC a dictatorship. Ma Su Kyi, not only becoming dictator herself but she also made NLD a dictatorship. While shouting democracy and human rights from her mouth . she has created another dictatorship which she is the head. Her followers do not allow others to express their views. They harresed, they intimedate, they threaten those who do not agree with them.
Nobody can deny that SPDC is building the nation, nobody can deny that Myanmar is developing and nobody can deny Myanmar is in progress, etc. etc. Today Myanmar is different from yesterday.
True, Myanmar has been walking on its own feet. That should and must be the spirit. I used to say that, with or without Ma Su Kyi, the show must go on. If she decides to join, it would be nice, it would even be nicer. Myanmar won’t be the same without her. May be she thinks its too late for her.
There is always a place for NLD, but I am not sure for Ma Su Kyi.
We are still making developments and progress without her taken partin the process. But to be fair, a question has to be asked. That is if Ma Su Kyi was not there in Myanmar, would Myanmar make these progress and these developments etc. etc. I think that much of a credit she deserves ? If we want to call it “ A Blessing in Disguise” may be too much. For her even now her feet do not touch the ground. She is no angle.
We know that, International community knows that “ no one is indispensable ”. We must accept it as well, because it is the truth. Creators are Destroyers. A person like Ma Su Kyi know that, she is the destroyer because she create anything.
The most important thing is all Myanmars have to know what is their priority are. What is the interest of the nation, what is their interest in the nation. Democracy and human rights are there , they have to grab it. Don’t worry about Sr. Gen Than Shwe and SPDC. Don’t worry about Ma Su Kyi and NLD. Myanmars are not senseless people, they are not stupid, idiots. At least they know what is good for them
As we are Myanmars, and most of us are Buddhist and if it must , Myanmars have to know what is the cause for their unnecessary suffering, why their suffering are prolonging, human error or the law of nature.
Budhha has taught us about suffering and what to do about it in four noble truths. HE showed us the ways through eight fold path and how to live a happy and a successful life in 38 Mingalas. Only thing for us to do is to study these thoroughly , to know the real meanings and put them into practice. We don’t need to suffer more than it is necessary.
When Ma Su Kyi said Myanmars must have a little more patient. When Ma Su Kyi said, Myanmars are not suffering, she can say that because she doesn't know what suffering is, because she has everything, she never had the experience of suffering, not even now.
As I said she is not only reluctant but she refused to announce, to lift the sanctions or the confrontation approaches. She is sure she has nothing to lose Of course not, but people of Myanmars have plenty to lose, the future of their children, the future of the nation. future of Myanmar as a nation. That is why they must reject her and NLD and their efforts to destruct Myanmar and its people.
MHK, unfinished Painting or “ Ma Pii They Thaw Bajiikar ”. Myanmar as a painting , it is a beautiful picture but it is still being painted to be more beautiful. Because there are a lot of final touches to be done, the more we look at it, the more we need to do to but not to over do it, we could spoil it. There is also a warning by our elders, “ Pyin Lunn Yin- Phin Chun”. We have to be careful. not to do it too much, but just right.
I believe . Ma Su Kyi is over doing every thing.
Whoever will be the last painter , he /she cannot finish it or make it to be perfect. Because there is no such thing as perfect. The more it is not perfect the more it might worth, it is a vintage, may be.
May be that is why everybody like to have this beautiful painting of Myanmar unfinished.
Though it is an unfinished painting, the one who carries on should not damage or destroyed what the first one has already done, instead he/she should enhance it, brighten it, take care of it, treasure it, defend it and protect it with his/her life.
It is said that there are countless numbers of precious and priceless paintings and other valuable things in the vaults of FORT KNOX in the United Stated of America. Some people even said all the royal treasures of Thibaw Min and Su Paya Latt which were taken away in a list by British Col Sladon in 1885 were there as well together with the royal treasures of the British Monarchs.
Myanmar is in need of broad minded people, open minded people, plenty of them. International community must be broad minded and open minded too.
Confused minds must be cleared. In Buddhism , meditation is the most effective way, It will make our visions clear , it will help us to make a right decision. That is the most important part in life.
A is equal to B. B is equal to C, that is why A is equal to C. According to that algebra , if two have the same value, what is the fuss about? That is the compromised theory. A cannot be B, and B cannot be C, they have their own idenity, with their own value.
Don’t worry MHK, the truth is always there for those who seeks the truth. You may notice that there are silent majority viewing every posting in this forum. That is a good sign.
This is not a good bye MHK, its along way to go yet.
