Dear All,
Here is the NEWS.
A leader of Myanmar's biggest ethnic armed groups has been killed at his home in Mae Sot, a border town in neighbouring Thailand.
Mahn Sha Lar Phan, secretary-general of the Karen National Union (KNU), was shot dead at about 4:30pm on Thursday at his two-storey wooden home by two men who had arrived in a pickup truck.
"One of them walked up to the house and said in Karen 'How are you, uncle?' Then the other man joined him after parking the truck and they both shot him with two pistols," Kim Suay, his wife, told the Reuters news agency.
The killing was immediately blamed on Myanmar's military government.
In an interview on Monday, the Karen leader had predicted a possible increase in violence ahead of a constitutional referendum in Myanmar in May.
Karen divisions
His son Hse Hse, another senior member of the predominantly Christian Karen rebel movement, blamed a Buddhist Karen splinter group which brokered a truce with the Myanmar government in the mid-1990s.
"This is the work of the DKBA and the Burmese soldiers," Hse Hse said, referring to the Democratic Karen Buddhist Army.
The KNU and its armed wing, the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA), are riven by internal feuds and lethal vendettas.
Thai police said they had the registration number of the vehicle and were setting up roadblocks around Mae Sot - a frontier town of refugees, illegal migrants and gem dealers - to try to catch the two killers.
The Karen have been fighting for independence in the hills of eastern Myanmar for the past 60 years.
The group once controlled areas of eastern Myanmar, but has been reduced mainly to a string of bases pressed against the Thai border.
Border conflict
Myanmar began a bloody offensive against the Karen two years ago, which activists say has targeted ordinary villagers rather than separatists.
Decades of fighting have devastated eastern Myanmar, where 500,000 people have been displaced by violence, according to Human Rights Watch, a New York-based rights group.
Up to 150,000 Karen refugees also live in camps along Thailand's border with Myanmar. Many of them have been there for more than 20 years.
Rape, forced labour, summary executions and land grabs remain widespread, while the military also forces villagers to act as human minesweepers, Human Rights Watch said in its annual report last month.
EBD OF THE NEWS.
My comments,
If only he decides to take honourable retirement within Myanmar and within legal fold he would still be alive and help the cause of Karen affairs together with Phado Aung San. But who can change his fate or " Phaya Thakihn Alo-daw Ja " It's the will of GOD in the name of Jesus Christ.
Whether SPDC representatives will attend the funeral of Phado Mahn Sher or not is another matter. SPDC attended at Saw Bo Mya's funeral who died of natural causes.
If only Phado Mahn Sher had join hn=and with Phado Aung San at least and took part in National COnvention he could be
one of the ministers or authorities for Kayin Affairs in the Kayin State.
What we can make out of this is, that Thailand which is a member of ASEAN, which is supposed to be a neighbour of Myanmar by hoarding the insurgents against Myanmar's government. Thailand can not be called a good friend but only a friend .
It is not only Phado Mahn Sher who lives in Chaig Mai in luxiry while his followers are in refugee camps or in the jungle of Myanmar poorly, risking their lives for their cause, whatever that means. What a waste.
It is not surprising some people might accuse Myanmar military(SPDC) for his tragic death.
Thunderbolts.

Don't worry about him thunderboats. Why?............because he is the believer of true one and only God. No matter which way or circumstances of death, peacefully or voilently, after death it is the soul that matters. The body as dust goes to dust. This is the truth. Even you will be dust one day thunderboats no matter what kind of death you encounter. There are people who believes in life (good life/eternity) after death and there are those who believe death after death or death as eternity. Some do not believe there is good life after death where a being never needs money, food, water etc. Isn't that nice to live, without food, water, money, power or even death anymore? Well, here we go again thunderboats. In humanity there are those who are stupid and idiot and there are those who are wise and brilliant. Isn't it thunderboats? Even you declare you and your associates are well "educated intellectuals". Didn't you thunderbaits? Well, I would loved to debate with these so called "educated intellectuals" and show the world who wins? Shall we Mr thunderbaits? I welcome and challenge all of you "educated intellectuals" to come forward and confront me in this forum and show me your guts. OK? One against all and all against one. How's that for a fight in this forum?. A fight that no one dies, no one bleeds and no life lost. Cool? Don't give excuse of this that for if you and your patriots or whatever does not come forward I will regard all as cowards. Got that Mr baits?
Who knows, the Karen Leader will be looking down on you from heaven and smile at your sarcastic cosmetic compassion. Who knows? Talking about Life after death I would like to elaborate on that for it is a very controversial subject where every human being is interested and wants to know the true answer with solid realistic proof.
Here's my elaboration:
Example:-:
Let's say there are 2 persons. One believes there is good life after death and another one does NOT believe there is life after death, in other words he/she does not believe there is God. Let's call the first person as "C" (the one who believes in God and there is good life after death) to make it simple for all to understand and the other person "A" (non believer of God where death is eternity/final).
When a person dies he/she cross the ultimate line and goes into an unknown world. No body knows what happens after death. No body. I accept that.
Now, here's the catch................
First scenario:
Let's say the person 'A' dies and found out there is no life after death. In other words death is eternity and 'A' is right. What did 'A' lose? Nothing of course for 'A' is correct and right. Let's say 'C' also dies and found out there is no life after death. What did 'C' lose? Nothing either because 'C' is just wrong in his/her faith. Death is final/finished right? For 'C' it didn't come up to C's expectation of good life after death. So both A and C do not lose a thing! They are both dead, finished.
Second senario:
Let's say A dies and found out there is good life after death and there is God and there is heaven. What happen? Well, it is pure simple. A cannot enter the gates of heaven for he/she denied it from the very first chance when he/she was alive on earth, a rejection to God. Everyone knows to enter, one must have a passport of IDENTITY to determined who you are and what you stand for, where you come from etc.? Earth and Heaven is NOT US, Mexican border where people can enter in and out without any identifications. Don't you think if there is heaven and if there is God, there will be records put on track towards earthlings or humans since they are far more superior than earthlings? Follow me to this point Mr Baits or Boats or Boots or BS or whatever?
Now, let's go back to C. When C dies and found out that there is good life after death, there is heaven and most important of all there is God. What do you think will happen? Since you declare you all are educated intellectuals living moronically at higher level I want you all to figure it out who will be the loser and who will be the winner in this race for heaven. 'A' or 'C'? Who has the upper hand? Who had more advantages? Who? Can the moronic educated intellectuals figure it out? See my point? Understand my point?
Now, don't forget that this lost or win is for eternity and there is no second chance or turning point. Remember that.
Pardon my uneducated idiotic thinking please.

Post edited by: ZynnYaw, at: 2008/02/17 16:13
