As a child the desire of been a journalist was threatened since journalists were subject to unlawful arrest and indiscriminate killing of news men and closing down of news medium by dictators. During one of the military regime in Nigeria in the 80's , a prominent Nigerian journalist Dele Giwa died to letter bomb. Growing up, the threat grew bigger when I saw a prominent Nigerian female journalist ,Chris Anyawu who suffered unlawful detension in the hands of the late dictator,Gen. Sani Abacha.
