Dear U Kyaw Myaing,

Whether it's in South Africa, Rawanda or Kenya for reconciliation to progress it must have its twin - 'truth'. Only when those who are victims of the past abuses can move on after 'learning the truth' - about how their sons and daughters disappeared, killed or subjected to any other abuses.

Germany as a country and its people confronted the 'truth' and have moved on. Cambodia (as well as East Timor) is still stuck in the past. The ghost of its past atrocities is still haunting them.

Will the military regime has enough courage to confront the truth? I don't think so. They're more like digging themselves deeper and deeper each day and there will be no turning point until they foud themselves in Hell.

The hands of the generals and their fellow military personnel are stained with blood of all kinds that Lady Macbeth might find it easy for her to wash the blood off her hands.

The law of karma has no favourites. They shall reap what they have sown.
