Hi Linsi and others,
Yes, today is the anniversary of one of the most sad day of the PRC history.
For what I saw at that time is that for the first time I saw HK people going down to the street to protest. One million.
Imagine one million people on 6 millions at that time. It is like in a 60 millions people country, 6 million were protesting !
Before that the people of HK were just interested in doing business under the the easy market rules by the British.
It is at this time that democratic parties emerged in HK.

Against Child Abuse
In April, 2006, four small children were found being neglected by their parents when the
only caretaker was their 83-year-old grandmother (“The Pak Tin Estate incident”). The
incident has aroused much media attention, which reminded us of the serious and unresolved
problem of child neglect in Hong Kong...
My POV-
This is one of the gravest problems in Hong Kong concerning domestic abuse and neglect of children.
The high rising cost and standard of living in this terrortory drives every parent to work both, most of the time taking the risk of leaving children home alone to sustain and maintain everyday living.
one of the articles which i posted, happened recently, causing people to catch government's attention and steering the social welfare department on how to address the problem.
