Mynmyat
QUOTE:
Those who deal with the junta pays the junta and that’s strictly business. These companies do not want to pay double expense. Business is business.
When I go to the grocery store to buy a decent chicken to roast in my oven do I pay the policeman standing at the corner? The answer is no, obviously, I pay the store. Same goes for Burma-Myanmar's resources, buyers ought to pay the rightful owners.
In Burma-Myanmar people are forced to pay the junta. Outside Burma-Myanmar there are standards of behavior. It's just not right to pay policemen for decent chickens.
I understand Burma-Myanmar Monks are a fantastic example of peace loving people. I would much prefer to listen to what they believe will cause the country to change for the better. I do not accept a vision of clandestine military action as a way forward. If Mandella can ride a bike with no hands then the Monks can do it too.
Do you know any Monks who speak English Mynmyat? Who can give strategy and hope for you and all the readers of our blog. I suspect the Monks have the answer.
