Is that's the Myanmar way? 1 Year, 7 Months ago Karma: -5
My dear Patriots,

So many viewers , yet so little taken part in the forum. Sad to know so little have any interest in the affairs of Myanmar to take part in discussions. So many have interests, may be , but don't come out. They just want to be bystanders. they want to know but they don't want to get involved. What can one say, that is their right, the human right.

Is that all they wanyt? Too many silent majority is not good for the nation. The democracy could be undermind, minipulated if there are too many silent majority. Besides there will be slow progress, slow developments. It can also prolong an undesirable system or rule and reign.

The right to speak, speaking one's mind is a very good thing, but everything has it's limit, the most inportant thing is not to abuse this right by speaking too freely, without limits.

Yes, true, there are some whom takes part but not discussing, not debating the matters or issues of Myanmar properly. The alternatives, the options, the possibles, the feasables for Myanmar. None of them been heard from them.

In my view they can afford wasting times on nitties, gritties and engaged in personnel attacks on somebody, because it is easy and they have nothing to do. And they want to be heroes.

Many of them escaped from Myanmar using SPDC as stepping stone or scape goat. Because they have no guts to confront the SPDC. And they shout aloud from a far where their voice can not be heard. And they tried to kick anybody nearest to them, they have no friends, only foes. They are the sons and daughter of one thousand mothers. People from all walks of life/ Academics, intellectuals, people with knowledge,
thieves, robbers, decoits and terrorists.

Come to think of it one Thakho Nga Tet Pyar in the Myanmar history was a thief , he was known as a Thakho ( thief ) after he built a Pagoda from his loots, he was not known as Phaya Dagar ( builder of Pagoda, he was stuill known as a thief and he died _ as a thief.

Shwe Kyee, a new name or not a familiar name to me was right in a way, we are still fighting. Fighting for what? Fighting for our beliefs, fighting to change the system? If that is so, that is worth fighting for, I should say.

But, who is fighting for what? The worthyness is the question. Whatever one is fighting for, is it worth fighting for? Boxers on the ring, and the fighters on the streets may be called fighters. But they are different. The boxers have rules, the street fighters have no rules. Theives, robbers and decoits can never be the boxers, they can only be the street fighters.
We have to ask ourselves, are we the boxers with rules on the rings, or the delinquent street fighters without rules on the streets?

Democracy is within rules. human rights is within rules they are not outside the rules. If that's the Myanmar's courage, if that's the Myanmar way, I am sorry, I don't know what to say.

With due respect, my humble request to these silent majority is , now you have a very good study of the forum, on different views many worthy amnd many worthless. It's time for you to come in and join and express your views freely. To make this forum more meaningful.

Thanks and regards,

Yes, certainly although many viewed this forum but a few participated.
Why? Why? Before going further, let look at this forum.

In my view, PEOPLE ARE RELUCTANT to participate due to the following reasons

first of all, People who are paid and instructed to do smear campaign tried to monopolized this forum and when they failed to monopolize this forum they then attacked this FORUM AND THE MODERATOR from outside. Worst of all they urge others not to participate in this forum AND YET, THEY, THEMSELVES HAVE PARTICIPATED. (that’s what you have done in SOC.CULTURE.BURMA)

Second, they may say the right to speak, but when others speak (mostly oppose to their thinking) they WILL attack. (that’s what you are doing)

Third, they accused others of time wasting, and yet their writings contain nothing but one sided affair packed with lies or incorrect facts.(that’s your articles)

Fourth, they accused others of LOW MORALE AND MANNER and yet they wrote the NASTIEST AND FILTHIEST message on any discussion forum. NO OTHER ARTICLE EVEN COME CLOSE TO THAT POSTING LET ALONE BE THE WORST. (REMEMBER YOUR MESSAGE of march 16, 2006????)

Fifth they accused others of personal attack and yet they attack others on several occasions and SMEAR campaign is their favorites. (look at your articles)

Six, they think what they wrote it always correct. (that is your view)

Seven, they think that by writing long letters and / with history background makes them popular but they don’t know that it was again packed with lies. If you cannot write true facts about the current issues, HOW CAN THEY WRITE CORRECTLY ABOUT HISTORY CORRECTLY???????. (Remember Phaunggyi and Ba Htto???? Remember of nationalization of schools??? Remember reason of Ne Win’s coup and other

Eight, they always that the law is there to see the law breakers are dealt with accordingly but when it come to their supporters, they can go bent the rules and without any fear of arrest. ( I don’t need to show your article)

TO HAVE A GOOD DISCUSSION, A TRUE FACTS ARE NEEDED NOT LIES AND/OR INCORRECT FACTS.

LONG MESSAGES DOESN’T MAKES A GOOD ARTICLES (your messages), MAYBE A SHORT BUT WITH TRUE FACTS ARE MUCH BETTER.
