A number of members have received e-mails from two of our members which are clearly part of a scam.
This type of spamming activity towards other members is not welcome on Asia Observer and the two members have had their accounts deleted.
We are working on how to improve routines to avoid this type of spamming for the future.

In the meantime: Do not reply if you receive unwanted mails from other members. As explained in the mails: By replying you let them know your real email address. If you do not reply, your e-mail will stay confidential.

Better then to forward the unwanted spam mails to me and we will take action if necessary.

That is the reason why I object sending private messages to other members. Compare to the last spam message I got, this is nothing.

I have deleted the message immediately.
I know the mentality of our People.
