This letter is our request for help.

Dear brothers and sisters!

Our homeland, Northern Caucasus, is in danger. While the violence has decreased in Chechnya, it launches its strips over Ingushetia and Dagestan. And somebody wants to set destructive bloodmare into Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachaevo-Cherkessia and Adyghea.

On the 13 th of October 2005 decades of mountaineers, people of one and the same nationalities and languages, died in Nalchik City (the capital of Kabardino-Balkaria) killing each other.

The reasons of such tremending events – people ignorance about their religion. Using social and economical problems in the region, some structures try to accuse collapse of violence in order to destabilize political situation in the south of Russia.

We are the group of young Moslems returned into Islam during 7 recent years. Our homeland is Kabardino-Balkaria, most of us are native Kabardinians.

Be rahmatullagh, under the merce of God, we've understood the truth of the Islamic religion. But the most parts of our nations haven't yet. Objectively, the real spread of Islam among our people only starts. We need knowledge, we need support and we need patience.

And the patience is the main thing.

We know that life is a way to Creator through testing of one's faithfulness. The Wholly Quran teaches us that believers are leading by God from dark to light. We try to make our best to be on the right way ourselves and to help others with the same.

But some people want to separate us from society. And worth than that, they want to separate us by blood.

The war in Chechnya where a lot of foreign Moslems took part had made the Russian authorities suspicious about Moslem social activity. And when they find out links between Chechen rebels and some dgamaats in other regoins they try to hinder the danger of further escalation. In terms of incompetence and corruption these actions sometimes turn into depression. But probably the main fault lays on leaders of such dgamaats, who use their authority among converted mass for striating it against the federal and regional governments.

In Kabardino-Balkaria the leadership among young people who start trying to be religious has been taken by several young imams who had studied in Islamic religious institutions abroad. Their Moslem education is not really deep one but great enough for nation whose knowing of religion is minimal. They have become the teachers of the young generation coming to Islam. They've helped us to get acquainted in religion but at the same time they had become unquestionable authorities. To argue them meant to separate oneself from the dgamaat.

In such circumstances their responsibility was great.

And what they have done? They declared the war against Russian Federation and its servants to be the religious duty of Moslems.

Why?

They said that the local authorities under the ruling from Moscow had inspired violence of regional police forces against dgamaat. They said the only reason for that is desire to annihilate Islam. They said that we must fight against the non-Moslem power that occupies our Moslem homeland. They want us to fight like some of Chechens do.

But we, who write this letter, have reasons to say that these declarations can't be based on the sharia .

We are asking them: why had you support those who strike in Chechnya? Why had you called them mudgaghidin? Why do you say those strikers are right putting the dgighad of the armed hand?

You say that our lands are occupied? That was true 150 years ago. Today the most part of our people is not religious Moslems and consider itself to be Russian residents. See the history of umma. The first Moslems in Mekka had to survive under the pressure of antagonistic pagan society till emigration to Medina where under the rule of the Messenger of God they built the society of sharia. Then they had gotten the right to fight for this society. But when they were the part of non-Moslem society and there was no sharia alternative somewhere they didn't fight against the pressure. They only could strengthen their patience or emigrate in the name of God.

And where is the sharia society on our days? We don't see it. We see countries and people with more or less spreading of Islam. There is light of the truth and frog of misunderstanding at every place on our planet. More than that, we are sure that till the informational field of Earth is determined by those who erred about the truth, a "clean" sharia society can't be. That is evident at the time of Internet and orbital transceivers.

And how can we righten the informational field fighting against the people among whom we live? How could one get to the top of a mountain exposing it by dynamite? Why do Moslems from other countries come to Chechnya for killing? There is no Moslem religious society to be protected there. Why are Kabardinian and Balkarian Moslems to enter the Islamic armed resistance ? How can be built sharia society by the insurgent war? Is that the way of the Messenger of God? We see from the history of umma that it is no.

They say that Allagh grated us by the chance to be killed in dgighad. But becoming a shaghid is not the purpose or the reason for dgighad, it is only the consequence of dying for right. And if the war they called us to take part in can be right so why first Moslems didn't take arm in their hands while living in Mekka?

They say, to kill Russian officials is our religious duty because Russian State is the enemy of Islam. And what is first – our support to Chechen fighters or official pressure on the dgamaat of Kabardino-Balkaria? We gave them the objective reason to suspect us in preparing anticonstitutional rebel. And knowing that our police are far from being the best one, should we expect it to act with all possible accuracy and comprehension?

And why should we support those Chechen fighters? Why should we follow their example? For independence? But there are thousands, billions social, economical, cultural and so on connections between our regions and other parts of Russia. We are objectively incorporated into this state. And it is probably much more ready to deal with us for common fare then some of extremists say us.

If we fight against people among whom we live we'll brake the law God puts for us.

Islam is truth and that is why Moslems are umma muassata – the community that follows laws of Truth and is responsible for earth and humanity. We are those who must call for approving by God and hold back from blaming by God. Society we live in is not shariatic. But there is no choice for us except two: to emigrate or to try to change step by step ourselves and surrenders. Do right and belay God. That is the rule of Moslems.

But our dgamaat is calling to fight. And the problem is that callers are our religious authorities. Evidently some of our brothers and sisters don't understand that following amirs can't be expanded further than personal responsibility of one's soul in front of Creator is. Perhaps they haven't religious experience enough to get conscious that the way they are calling to do by amirs is bloody impasse.

The forms of armed struggle they suppose us to involve saying "you must if you are Moslems" are elucidated on such Nazy, pseudo-Moslem, site like www.Kavkaz-center.org. There are published straight instructions. According to them, every Moslem in Russia has to live for making diversions and harming Russian State institutions, services and people.

They say it will be more effective in terms of conspiracy. So it means that we can to pretend non-Moslems. Because every religious Moslem would be under suspicion if people knew that war against Russian State is obliged to him. And one more thing: as we see from practice in Chechnya and Dagestan, we should have to kill all who don't think like we do.

Conspired suspicious diversants and killers. That whom should we be. What for? The Moslem society in Medina was organized through good will of population and only then began to fight against aggressive kufr. We are called to destroy non-Moslem state institutions we are living with though we haven't our owns and haven't the support of population.

So instead of changing the society to be more religious we have to separate ourselves pretending to be its usual members and at the same time suffering people by terror. The word "Moslem" becomes the synonym of "extremist" and fear averts people from Moslems and their truth.

Who has the profit?

The region is in fitna. It blocks possibilities of positive development, terrorizes population and reimburses itself. Corruption becomes deeper, dishonesty – wiser. Simple people suffer, parents of militaries, policemen and insurgents burry their children.

On the 13 th of October 2005 a bit of young people following the appeal of their leaders "rebelled" against "the tyranny and depression". But who were the objects of their attacks? Simple servants: soldiers and policemen. The scenery similar to that one in Chechnya, Dagestan and Ingushetia. Really blamed persons benefits while servants and insurgents kill each other. Why?

Why Russian people – teachers, doctors, workers – are being killing in terrorist attacks in Ingushetia?

Probably somebody tries to make Northern Caucasus the "hot spoil" of Russia, roping Russian Federation down in smoldering conflict and simultaneously getting Russians use of seeing enemy in every Moslem. That will be really destructive for the state which includes homeland of 20 millions ethnic Moslems.

We think somebody just uses passions of some Moslems for his own profit. We know that some lot of our foreign "brothers" acts by all means to input Caucasus in war against Russia. From the other side, some local "leaders" claim for umma's help in struggle for religion towards Russian kafirs.

Brothers and sisters!

We ask you – try to stop that!

Don't believe that there is no other choice for Moslems in Russia to act for their religion besides war with Russian State! Please, understand that there is no chance to full our duty - to call for approving by God and to hold back from blaming by God - in terms of violence. We are at the same field with all other humans, not at some other field. And violating them we can't approve the dominance of Islamic values. We approve the dominance of inhuman values playing rules of those who think of themselves to be initiated for manipulating people at their own profit. Understand that all those structures like Moslem underground resistance, which Moslems of Russia are called to organize, are not Moslem structures. Their purpose isn't right. It is war against Russian State and no more. That is the way to fitna, not to sharia.

The Moslem community becomes the instrument for somebody's gambling. Obeying provocateurs we loose our position like umma muassata and turn into gun's meat.

Brothers and sisters, in the name of Allagh, help us!

Explain our foreign confessionals that we need not weapon, not war, but help in approving the truth of our religion. Don't say "those bloody kafirs". See that these are people, humans and we are responsible for helping them. Because helping them we help our souls. And violating them we empower our enemies.

Please, brothers and sisters, pray for our success! For our success in real Dgighad – in dghighad for humanity and comprehension!
