Very nice topic! Divorce as i see it is not a matter of being conservative, it is a matter of educaton about legal rights bestowned on a spouse that has been cheated in all its meaning and aspects.
In terms of relationships
medical status
economic viability
integrity of the whole marriage
effects to offsprings.
In terms of relationship:-When one is cheated and could not cope with reconciliations, worst- when proven there is a violation against the law of monogamy which is a legal part of the marriage constitution in the Philippines.
medical status:- When one is cheated that the spouse could not perform marriage consummation due to medical abnormalities ,or mentally incapable of executing and performing sound mind and judgments, there is another violation in the marriage constitution.
Economic viability- The one who is wronged has the legal right to alimony.
Integrity of the whole marriage situation-
Integrity is corrupted,-so the marriage vows are null and void
Effects to offsrpings-When there is fornication outside marriage, it brings devastating effect and trauma to children.Meaning the dad is seen with another woman, or rumors spreading about how the dad gets involved with another woman or vice versa brings empotional catastrophe to offsprings.
These are the pros and cons of not having divorce.
When the marriage is corrupted, for many reasons, divorce
gives the legal protection and provisions to the one who is wronged.
