hi choco,

i love chocolates you have a cute daughter
nice garden, lively friends in the photos. i have
indonesian friends here and they are very similar
to Pinoys because we belong to one malay race,
our language in the category of polynesia.
during christmas they cook indonesian foods
and we have similarities but also uniqueness.

may i say you're pretty cool?

hope you could post something more about indonesia
specially the easy access of travel by boat or ferry
to singapore and malaysia, very interesting.

Hi Linsi,
Thanks !!

As my place is in JAVA ISLAND, I use plane for my travel.
There's a direct flight to Singapore and KL Malaysia from Bandung, but the fare is much higher than taking flight from Jakarta, and from frenz' experience.. the flight was a bit spooky coz there's always clouds around Bandung.
My hometown is in SUMATRA ISLAND, usually people will use local plane to BATAM and then ride the ferry to Singapore.
As for Malaysia, dunno for sure, I've never been there, maybe someday will go

Have you ever been to Indonesia ? Heard the news ?
Anyone else ..?
Tell me what dya think of Indonesia

Hi Choco,

Congratulation for your nomination.

I have visited your country several times and like it very much.

Among the places I visited, I like Bali most. I like the way they keep their culture, easy going lifestyle and the food there are very delicious and very cheap (I loved eating), I think the only place you can have McDonald with rice is in Bali.

I will never forget how they bring all the dishes to your table and pay only what you eat at the local restaurant.

I cannot swim but going around Bali makes me to re-visit again and again. A visit to Ubud reminds me of my hometown. (I have been to Bali seven times already and planning to go there again)

A visit to Borobudur is a life long memory but Jakarta is not a place for me though I like to do window shopping for leather goods where they sell all the leather products in a big single floor (I can’t remember the name of the departmental store).

Bandung will be my next visit to see the flower growing and tissue culture training.

Hi
I love Bali too, beautiful place, great sea food by the sea, and I love the sea.
Maybe some other time, you would like to visit BANGKA (http://bangka.go.id/wisata_alam.htm or http://www.infobangka.com/), it's not as sophisticated as Bali with its complete features, but it's worth to try and especially if you like a quiet place, this might suit you
Btw .. can't find a website with English, but I think it would be good enuff for pix.

Yeah, the resto where they bring all kind of food to your table and you pay only what you eat is very common here, we call it a PADANG RESTAURANT, it's all over Indonesia, and the meal has more spices, my frenz from India enjoy the meal very much coz it's quite similar to Indian food.

Borobudur temple is in Central Java, I've been there too, imagine how they build such great temple with limited tools (compare to now, how we build sky scrapers ... )

Look forward to see you when you visit Bandung.
