We have discussed a lot in what conditions the CCP could lose the power. The result is for the moment : in any case.

So what will be the next big movement in China question what will be the next big changes in top leaders after the coming national congress of the CCP.

If Hu Jintao introduce a new young member in the Standing comitee of the Political bureau, he will resign in five years. If he don't do that, he is preparing himself for a more five years tenure.

Whoever the "Boss" will be, the current system (Socialism with Chinese Characteristics) put forward by Deng Xiaoping in 1982 (thus working effectively for exactly 25 years now) will continue.

Of course it will evolve as the Globe goes round the way it has during the past quarter-century. It's only a question of pace. With China becoming more & more integrated to the outside world, the pace will become ever & ever fast. Don't forget Chinese are PRAGMACTIC (probably because of the long History behind)

At last we know when will be the 17th Party congress (Opening October 15) who will decide of the future of China for the next five years

It will be interesting to see who from "the fifth generation" leaders candidates will be promoted to the powerfull Politburo Standing Committee

We are talking about the Next Big Movement in China, whereas IN this oountry, people are talking about the "Wealth Creation Movement".

The current movement in China : « Wealth Creation Movement » (“ZhaoFuYunDong” in Mandarin)

The term is broadly employed by the media, particularly those in finance. According to these media, the “Wealth Creation Movement” was kicked off early 2006 when the China Securities Regulatory Commission promulgated the “Listed Company Equity Incentive Scheme Guidelines” on 31st December 2005 (governing Employee Share Option for A-share issued by State Owned Enterprises SOE) in line with the State Council’s objective on promoting the reform, opening & steady growth of the capital market.

The Measures allow an individual beneficiary (the employee) to obtain free up to 1% of the Company’s total share capital. The Scheme became an important means of share distribution, thus creating wealth. The total capitalization of the 2 stock exchanges (Shanghai & Shenzhen) amounted to 3,200billions USD last week, multiplied by 7 in One year.

The Share Option Wealth Creation movement is highly developed today by the “Netizens”. 1/6 (22 millions) of them are stock speculators, facilitated by the use of GPRS function of the mobile phones. ¾ of the transactions of funds are done on-line.

an article published said that "In the latest sign that next month's 17th National Congress of the CCCP will be more a coronation than a conference (that is not new), the state-run Xinhua News Agency announced that the party will amend its constitution to enthrone the political theory of President Hu Jintao

Hi Jacques

If you want to analyse and understand the 17th congress of the China Communist Party, you have first to start with the 16th congress

For Willy Lam of Asia Sentinel, Xi Jinping, the Shanghai Party Secretary, could enter in the nine member Politbureau Standing committee, the genuine masters of China.

In these case we would have, with Li Keqiang, two members of the Fith-Generation.

So that could be an indication that Hu Jintao will resign in five years, but the Shanghai faction are wrong to said that Li lacks of national stature. When Jiang Zemin have taken the post of General Secretary in June 1989, he was just Shanghai Party Secretary with no national stature.

I think that Li Keqiang will have a better position in the next PSC than Xi Jinping and if it is the case, posted to be Hu Jintao successor

See picture of Li Keqiang
