INTERESTING NEWS IN FINANCIAL TIMES ABOUT CHINA'S ATTEMPT TO CONTROL INTERNET CONTENT:

China has put aside proposals to force internet users to use their real names when signing up for blogging services – and will now merely encourage them to do so.

However, blog hosts will be held responsible for censoring any suspect blog entries they might make.

I think the Chinese users of internet are scared to have problems. Remember, when, on a forum, I send a call to our Chinese members asking them what they should like to see on A.O. No one answered.
