US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is outraging Myanmar Nation and Myanmar People.

During the visit to China’s earthquake hit place, she said “'We are very glad that the Chinese people have reached out for help” followed by saying regarding Myanmar that ''It has been sad that instead of making possible the international community's response to their people, they put up barriers to that response''. And she continue ''Many lives could have been saved, perhaps many more can still be saved if we can get that response, this is not a matter of politics.''
The international relief organisation including Tri-core (UN, Asean and Myanmar called PONJA) and MSF (doctors without border) have already confirmed that there was no dead after cyclone – “ you were dead or you were in OK shape”. Besides They have also confirmed that no break of widespread disease as well as no sign of starvation.
Why US Secretary of State Rice lie by saying ''Many lives could have been saved, perhaps many more can still be saved if we can get that response, this is not a matter of politics.'?
And she said “this is not a matter of politics” but who is politicising the natural disaster. Just even now she is politicising. Not only she has politicised the natural disaster but also she has outraged our nation and our people.
Myanmar government has informed all diplomats in Yangon just 3 days after cyclone that the international aids and help were welcome. And the government has clearly informed all diplomats in Yangon ( I think it was 4th May if i remember well) the scale of the Cyclone was beyond the limits of Myanmar Nation’s capacity to handle. Since then Myanmar has accepted all kind of aids entering into country and continue to accept (However aids flowing into the country has stopped recently). But because of our country’s political conflict situation and the existence of ethnic revolts we could not accept any kind of military ships that can further complicate the already complicated situation (see how Moe Thee Zon, the exile government’s prime minister Sein Win and NLD inside were so much busy in the hope a possible regime-change could happen if humanitarian intervention was allowed by the International Community supported by UN – they really are the “MEAN” and they were and are profiting the natural disaster for their political advantage).
As far as I know NLD sent a letter (a day before UN’s secretary Ban Ki-Moon arrival to Yangon) to UN’s office requesting a meeting with UN’s secretary BKM and demanded UN all aids should be linked with political solution. NLD even demanded in their letter to BKM to work for the release of ASSK and otherwise not to help Myanmar government in relief cyclone. And NLD continued by asking ASSK should be released and attend to the meeting with all donor countries because she is the only legitimate leader of Myanmar.
So Who is politicising the Natural Disaster at the expense of millions of lives of Cyclone victims?
Therefore all sayings of US Secretary of State Rice are totally false and groundless. I think she might be very disappointed because Myanmar, very poor country and very poorly equipped militarily could have even defied against the super power USA. Rice should know that from Clinton to Bush government, US’s immense effort to influence on Myanmar government has repeatedly failed. This has again proved even in the Myanmar’s weakest situation, cyclone drama.
Again Rice has tried to compare Myanmar with China whose individual capital income is more than 2000 USD ( monthly – data from 2006) while Myanmar’s individual capital monthly income is only less than 5 USD (data form 2007). Our country has only 300 Millions USD income monthly ( from gas selling and some water products) . A country nearly no trade at all with outside ( except from China and some Asean countries). From which the government buy fuel ( fuel price now hit 140 USD a gallon) and pay monthly salaries to all government employees. We export absolutely nothing but we import all, food, medicines, plastic, soap, textile, cleaning product and all.
So government has no money left for the social welfare such as medical care, improving education, building schools, roads, infrastructure, universities. Everybody with common sense know that the scale of Nargis cyclone is beyond our limits.
1. Who wished the tourists not come to our country?
2. Who wished the economic sanctions
3. Who wished all investments quit our country
4. And now who wish all aids and relief be politicised?
Rice knows all these things, but she pretends not to know and lie. What she is not paying attention is that
she and her US government is supporting a group of people in and out of our country who have no place socially, economically and politically in our society.
If she is outraging our nation and people then it is the United States of America and Amercican people are outraging Myanmar Nation and Myanmar People.
Myanmar has approved the new constitution with more than 92%. Therefore The US or EU or UN or any other country has no right at all to say the constitution invalid. It is we the people of Myanmar who will decide our destiny.
If US wish to improve the relationship with us it is to the US who should respect our nation and our people. As long as US ( same for EU and UN) does not want to respect our Nation and our people as an equal member of world community, there is no chance at all for them to improve our relationship with. Our people do not harm US nor EU, please do not try to harm our nation and people.
If US continue their present policy of sanction with our country, not only their puppets (NLD, exiles and hopes for regime change) will get absolutely nothing but also they will lose a country with very kind people of 55 millions to communicate.

Note for NLD and the Exiles:
NLD is a legal political party. As long as they exist, their rights such as competing in a election will not be denied. However if the wish to participate in the rebuilding of our nation, they should work extremely hard and first of all they must wash their heads full of negative things in order to see the situation clearly. Now they are blind they are not seeing the things clearly.
All exiles no exception regardless of the countries they are residing have no place at all in our society. They lost Myanmar nationality as a consequence, they can not return back to the country. They have no right at all to vote. They are simply no longer Myanmar citizen therefore they have nothing to do with our nation. In the long term if they can obtain other countries nationalities, they can visit our country with tourist visa, that’s all their rights in connection with our Nation.
