Dead bodies thrown into rivers in devilish Myanmar style 4 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 11
Dear linsi,

Thanks for posting this link
http://asiaobserver.multiply.com/video/item/16/ Dead_are_thrown_into_rivers_as_the_living_wait_for_aid-Updated_CNN

This is a nation where the regime is conducting referendum and forced people to vote ’yes’ and simultaneously throwing dead bodies into rivers. What kind of Constitution is this where this kind of devils rule?

No civilized nation on earth will throw dead rotten bodies into rivers and lakes and conducting votes for the referendum none what so ever. See how dirty their sanitation is? See how foolish idiots these hooligans are? Only in Myanmar this kind of culture and conduct are being done at the same time.

They are truly uncivilized maniacs.

Regards,

Miramar.

hi miramar

i understand but don't despair--look at this
which i posted in "We can change the wold"
from our Asia Lounge-

we just have to keep on working and hoping

YANGON, Myanmar - From shopkeepers handing out free rice porridge to medical students caring for the sick, ordinary people in Myanmar are stepping in to help cyclone victims as the military regime severely restricts international aid.

Taxi drivers, factory owners, college students, teachers and other Yangon residents — many of whom lost their own homes — are among those organizing grueling trips into the Irrawaddy delta, the hardest-hit region.

"They are true humanitarian heroes," said Bridget Gardner, International Red Cross representative in Myanmar, after touring an area where volunteers were giving first aid to the injured.

I have noticed that Burmese people are resilient people
they can survive even in the midst of unthinkable cruelty
and poverty gripping the nation due to its military government

but inspite of it all they made a choice to help
their fellowmen to make the place even a little better
for others-

they are changing the situation in the most humble way
they can. they have thousands of unsung heroes
serving as hope and light for the next generations.

Yes, linsi. People of Myanmar cannot, willnot depend on the military government. Military government is only active for suppression. See how they (soldiers) came out quickly to the streets when the Buddhist monks demonstrate? The people long have been relying on themselves for decades. It is not new. In times like this the military government not only slow in response but also put their hands in their pockets while the International, hands out the aids.

I’ve been waiting since 1988 when will the Burmese military be punished for the crimes that they did? When?. I'd watch, will US help or EU will help or UN will help save the oppressed people of Burma?. To my dismay nobody punished the junta. US did imposed sanctions and that was it. No regime change like Saddam Hussein. Sanctions are a prolong method not to mention it is very mild. It take years or decades to take affect. Any way, here’s the scenario. Since no one on earth help eliminate the evil regime I turn and rely on “Supernatural” forces for I believe in Supernatural forces. I was wondering will the supernatural foces take action against the Burmese junta?. Now see what happened? Take out the word “super” and the second word “natural” forces did punished the junta. Many called it Natural disaster. Finally the long awaited (since 1988 to 2008, 20 years) “VINDICATION” had been done and that is why NARGIS is my hero, as I said on the other topic of yours. Of course there will always be collateral damage involved. That cannot be avoided.

By the way my vacation starts tomorrow and I will be in and out of Vegas for a while so please excuse me if there is no response from my side.

I might be revealing or share my travel experiences during my vacation on the net when I come back to Vegas. Of course on other appropriate forums.

Sincerely,

Miramar.
