Is Ma Su Kyi is a racist? Is she discriminating against Bamar majority in favour of other ethnic nationalities in Myanmar, the same as her husband’s forefathers the British have discriminated against Bamars , mistreated the Bamars after 1885? The Bamars were the oppressed people by the British who were in favour of the ethnic minorities in Myanmar up to this day. Some of these ethnic minorities were willingly serving for the British interest against Bamars majority.
In a country called Myanmar the Bamars are the majority, there is nothing anybody can do anything about it. If Ma Su Kyi or anybody tries to reduce this Bamar majority , he/she is asking for trouble, a big trouble, because he/she may be rocking the boat. May be waking the sleeping tigers. Bamts population is two third of the whole population in Myanmar or 2 to 1. Not two against one.
But Ma Su Kyi is trying one against two.
Which national race of Myanmar Ma Su Kyi belongs to is not sure. Some people said her mother was from a Kayin race. Her father side go to her grand father. But her mother side no body bother to find out , because it never was necessary. You are you, I am me. What's it got to do with our parents or grand
parents. In Buddhism as well you are you.
Majority of people of Myanmar considered themselves as one people regardless of which ethnic national race they belong to . Only a handful of people from ethnic races think they are different. They are not Bamars. They have nothing to do with Myanmars. But to be honest Bamars know who Kalars are , Bamars know who Tayotes are. They may be Myanmars citizen but they are not Myanmar nationals.
But Bamars don't know who are Shan, Chin, Kachin, Kayin, Kayah or Mon or Yakhine. Because they all are the same. There never was a time to talk about this race issue. There are no race issues among ordinary people of all races in Myanmar. There never was racial conflicts in Myanmar among ordinary people of Myanmar, unless the politicians created one for their own interests.
Why I ask is Ma Su Kyi is a racist , is she discriminates against Bamar majority?
Ma Su Kyi knows from the very beginning that she has no chance in Myanmar. So Ma Su Kyi used her last card as a first card in a desperate attempt. She is not honest she is not sincere. When the British were about to leave India, they played their last card saying Mualim India, Hindu India. That worked. When they left Myanmar, they left Myanmars with 1947 Constitution. They left Myanmar using different words., the same problem, it worked as well. So Ma Su Kyi wants to do the same, disregarding what all the leaders before have done. She is hopin oit will work for her as well.
On August 26, 1988 in her speech at Westgate of Shwedagon Pagoda she said the following.
“ while I am on the subject of unity, may I speak for a while on the union of states of which Burma is composed. The different people of Burma should also remain united. The majority people of course remain Burmese. They must strive with ever increasing efforts to live in this accord and amity. Because the Burmese people from the biggest majority , they should make the greatest efforts to live in this accord and amenity and to achieve that much needed unity and friendship among national racial group.”
To analysis these words of hers let us look at the second sentence first, which is,
“ The different people of Burma should also remain united.”
What I am seeing is if the majority of these different people of us Myanmars are not remain united, Ma Su Kyi would not have a country called Union of
My anmar (Burma) for her to come back?
Why is Myanmar still there, does she know? Because they are still remain united before she came on the scene from nowhere
The third sentence, “ The majority people of course remain Burmese. They must strive with ever increasing efforts to live in this accord and amity.”
In this sentence when she said “ the Burmese ” I am 1000% sure that she meant to say “ Bamars ” . She is an English man’s wife, so for her, we Bamars are Burmese. It doesn’t matter.
But what she does not know was how ever we all Myanmars including Bamars. ever increase our efforts to live in this accords and amenity. A handful of people from some ethnic races who are still supported by Friends of Burma’s Hill People in everyway including financially , firstly a few Kayins (KNDO) who had racist view against Bamar like her, started all these without given all our national leader a chance to have a foot in the hole ( independence) . Communist are no difference though they are different case. Now we are talking about the ethnic nationalities which Ma Su Kyi is other ethnic races, against Bamar ethnic race.
Ma Su Kyi must know Bamar majority are the sufferers in Myanmar.
The question is what have the Bamars ethnic done anything against other ethnic races, as a Bamar race? Are the Bamars ill-treating other ethnic races.
No, Ma Su Kyi, no, because of these few misguided people who belong to some ethnic races of Myanmar, the whole of Myanmrs and all people in Myanmars are suffering.
And then she continued, “ Burmese( Bamars) people from the biggest majority , they should make the greatest efforts to live in this accord and amenity and to achieve that much needed unity and friendship among national racial group.”
What a load of rubbish. As if Bamars are the ones who does not want unity ,who does not want friendship among national racial group. As if Bamars are those who wants disintegrate Union. It is great insult by a person like Ma Su Kyi to Bamar ethnic race in Myanmar.
Bamars , majority of whom are Buddhists, they know very well about friendship. They put into practice every day. They are living in harmony with everybody in Myanmar. The politicians like Ma Su Kyi has nothing to do. So the politician like Ma Su Kyi created something for themselves to do something and they made a mistake by choosing a wrong subject, the same one which disunite Myanmar people for 60, BLOODY years again
Amenity? If only hope Ma Su Kyi knows the meaning of the word.
That is the problem with Ma Su Kyi a big problem. She thinks she knows too much, more than anybody else. If only Ma Su Kyi had stayed in Myanmar all her life, she would not say such thing. I would believe that she knows without any doubt. She knows she is wrong to say such thing against Bamars. In fact she does not know a thing about Myanmar or the Bamars.
Bamars as a Bamar race had never done anything against other non Bamar race, for a person like Ma Su Kyi to say such thing.
We had 1947 constitution which was generally believed by some of us was the cause of all the problems in Myanmar. There were Chambers of deputies and Chambers of nationalities as legislative bodies. Combination of the two was Parliament, PLUS the Kachin, Kayah, the Kayin and Shan State councils and the Special division for Chins.
U Nu the peoples elected leader tried to amend that constitution in 1960 , nobody gave him a chance. He had no chance, but met with possibilities, all others wanted to get out of the Union. Who were those who did not give him a chance to amend the 1947 constitution? Who were those who made possible for Gen Ne Win to take over?
I can tell you this, they were not Bamars. They were those who took advantage on her father’s weakness who drafted part of 1947 constitution, under the influence of the British who favours ethnic minority, who were serving them as occupational army in Myanmar against Bamars.
They , the ethnic minorities were those who should be told the way Ma Su Kyi is telling the Bamars in this case or in this subject of unity according to her own words . Who doesn’t want unity as one people in one nation? Does Ma Su Kyi the one who is the English man’s wife, who knows too much about Myanmar politic, does she know who and what she is ? She should know very clearly.
U Nu was not a political leader of Bamar race only. Neither U Ne Win was as political leader or as the leader of Tatmadaw. he was not representing Bamar race only or any other race. When he took part with Ko Aung San to liberate Myanmar from British or from the Japanese. He or they were not only to liberate Bamars only. They have liberated all people from all races in Myanmar. To live together in harmony and to work together.
What her father said in his documents in his own hand writing which were said to be in her possession, why did she not published them before or after 1988 . She had all the chances, she could do it at Oxford University Press or somebody else could do it for her. They are a load of volunteers for her, no shortage of them.
In all the Parliaments before 1988 she would find the numbers of ethnic national race as representatives were far more in numbers than the Bamar representatives.
If only Ma Su Kyi bothers to study what U Ne Win had done for peace, for national reconciliation during his 26 years reign, she would not be asking these silly questions , what had he done to achieve peace in Myanmar. Why she did not ask all other ethnic insurgent leaders and communists, what they have done for peace in Myanmar. She could had ask some of the NLD leaders who were in the military who were together with U Ne Win before they left him or before they were kicked out by him , what U Ne Win was doing to achieve peace in Union of Myanmar.
They will have to give the correct answers, not what someone would like to hear. Honesty and sincerity starts from there . Including about private pocket army such as Shan Kar Kwe Yey, In the end this Kar Kwe Yey became one of the insurgents groups fighting against Union government or unity of all people.
At the moment those who had cease fire with SPDC are still holding their arms. The plans are for them to give up these arms, without surrendering. How far SPDC has achieve this plans, we have no idea. Ma Su Kyi may have a better plan, may be Ma Su Kyi wants these cease fire groups to wait for her to get the power. If that is the case , that will be along wait.
Ma Su Kyi thinks she can do better, may be so. U Nu , U Ne Win all of them during these 60 years were doing peace talks, peace agreements, countless numbers. Rehabilitation programmes for those who came back to legal fold, trade and skill trainings , retraining the former insurgents and communist, relocation setting up new life for them to restart.
Does the person who said she knows too much not know that?
If Ma Su Kyi doesn,t know , at least Tin Oo must know, Maung Lwin must know , Chit Khaing must know, Kyi Maung and Aung Gyi must know to tell her. May be that is why Aung Gyi left NLD as Chairman because he could n't put any sense into her head.
May be Ma Su kyi thinks Bamars are still sleeping, still thinks Bammars are ignorant. She is wrong, totally wrong. In fact they are not. There are Bamars, who went to Oxford, Cambridge, Yale and Harvert or even Chulalakoung University in Thailand.
Bamars are generally very quiet people, they are quiet not because they are in FEAR. They trust their leaders, they trust their Government of the Union of Myanmar and the Myanma Tatmadaw.
Since the Tatmadaw was founded all nationalities of Myanmar are there in the Tatmadw. Ma Su Kyi as the daughter of Aung San should know that, or she was too small (young ) to know. Or she doesn‘t bother to know or she doesn‘t want to know? Bamars trusted the Myanma Tatmadaw as the Tatmadaw will take care of all nationalities in Union of Myanmar to live in harmony no matter what their differences are. Bamar as a ethnic race never made a fuss of it. Bamars never had or founded, Bamar Tatmadaw or Bamar National Defence Organization which consists only Bamars. Tatmadaw was and is the peoples' Tatmadaw, not U Ne Win's, not U Saw Maung, Not U Tin Oo's. It will never be Ma Su Kyi's.
Ma Su Kyi must not push Bamars too far with her funny ideas. While she seems to be wanting unity , talking for unity, she is dividing the already united people of Myanmars. She should know those who does not want to united are not the Bamar ethnic race. Those who are trying to break up the union are not the Bamar ethnic race.
That kind blunders and slanders and attacking personal attacks on U Ne Win, U Saw Maung and most of all Tatmadaw and against other leaders in Myanmar showed that, Ma Su Kyi does not know the politic about Myanmar, she does not know anything about Myanmar at all.
Most of all her attitude towards Bamars ethnic race, in favour of other ethnic race made people like me sick of her.
Honestly and sincerely I don’t blame her for not knowing, because she was living abroad as a good house wife, who was not interested in Myanmar or had no time for Myanmar. But she should be honest and sincere to herself if not to others . She should not be saying anything whatever comes into her mouth. Myanmar saying is “ Asar Go Kon Aung Sar - Zagar Go Kon Aung Ma Kywer Ne ”. What she already said had already mislead some people. Those few ethnic armed races in the jungle, those who already has cease fire with SPDC. Sh was confusing them.
She was saying things which were fed to her, not because she know.
In one of the stories that I have heard in English and in Myanmar. A person ate nearly 10 and a half pounds ( three viss) weight of goat shits through pea shooter, which was fed to him. He didn't even notice , yet he never stop talking.
That what Ma SU Kyi was doing and that is what is happening. She said things not because she knew, but she did not know. She was trying to dig out so somebody fed her with words and phrases to attract the people and to discredit other leaders. She did not know what she was saying. In my view she is not like a leader, she is just another follower, a very bad one. She could be easily manipulated and undermined by anybody.
Today there is economic sanctions imposed on Myanmar against Myanmar. This sanctions are officially supports by Ma Su Kyi and NLD. Myamar has some difficulties in her economy , which could means everything, yet Myanmar’s economy is still standing straight. Thanks to those who understands Myanmar. Thanks to those who still could maintain Myanmar's economy.
During BSPP time Myamnmar was known as self isolation, self imposing economic sanctions, cut off from the world. May be so, but nationalisation programmed played a big part of it. If I were one of those whose business had been nationalised, I would not be happy. I will do anything to make that Myanmar government difficult to run its country’s economy.
If I am a foreigner, I will make sure my Government to do some thing about it against my losses, against the loss of the revenue of my government.
What I won’t do will be, I will not blame myself for sending out my profits back to my country of origin instead of developing my business or extending my business, or investing back in Myanmar. That was called exploitation, colonisation, capitalisation, monopolisation and so on. That was what was happening in Myanmar, that was the reasons industries were nationalised.
Myanmar is now facing economic insurgents. Thanks to Ma Su Kyi, who has created economic insurgents. These insurgents are none other than citizens of Myanmar, with foreign blood in them . Most of them are not Bamar in origin.
In 1885 British Bombay Burma Treading Company dispute with Thibaw , open our eyes how some people tried to manipulate Myanma economy for their own advantages and for their own benefits. They will do what they like in Myanmar, they did not have abide by the Myanmar Laws, they have their own law in India or in Britain. They are protected by their own laws. Myanmar laws are no good enough for them, they must have their own way. Myanmar laws cannot topuch them for they are British or they are British protected person, like Ma SU Kyi. Does Ma Su Kyi know that?
In 1988 RIT student and locals had a fight. Police became sandwich meat, Myanmar ended up with economic problems resulted uprising. Economic reforms were too late , could be said BLOODY late.
Ma Su Kyi can blame U Ne Win or any other in Myanmar for economic disaster.
Now economic sanctions are imposed by some outsiders which Ma Su Kyi openly said that NLD and she supports it. Who does she want to put the blame on?
Ma Su Kyi who wants to blame Sr. Gen Than Shwe for the state of economy and difficulties in Myanmnar from negative view, should think again.
What we did not know was during BSPP or since 1962 what other people from outside were doing against BSPP or Myanmar. Because things were not so transparent like today. Myanmar was little known to the world and now Myanmar is blown. If somebody piss, shit or fart in Myanmar the whole world knows now. Still some people do not know where Myanmar or Burma is on the map.

I am told that while she was living in Oxford, she and her friends used to say, “ Bamar Myar Daw Kyaut Par De ” or “ Bamar Pyi Akyaung Ma Thi Jin Buu “
Ma Su Kyi used to work at SOAS ( School of Oriental and African Studies ) in Russell Square in London which is only two or so blocks away from the BBC Bush House , Burmese section. SOAS checks Burmese translation of BBC Burmese Section. SOAS teaches British government employees from the British Foreign and Commonwealth Ministry and British military attaches and MI6 personals Burmese language, to serve in their EMbassy in YGN.
Having said that, SOAS, members of Britain Burma Society most of them are behind Ma Su Kyi. No need to say.
The late Thankin Ohn Myint, who was said to be one of the friends of Ko Aung San was working at Bahan NLD HQ for Ma SU Kyi before he passed away. It is said he was not the member of NLD. With this connection his son Aung Khin got a job at BBC. Later his contract was terminated or not extended, his performance was so poor. But Aung Khin’s wife is still working at SOAS.
Some people are not happy because Ma SU Kyi is not eligible to take public office in Myanmar, even she had said that she (we) is not participating to gain power but participation in the democratic movements.
She is not a desirable person, she is dangerous person who will break up the union if she gain power, that is for sure, to the delight of ethnic national races, to the delight of her British connections.
You can find out from small prints and between lines in her speeches, which are totally opposite to the objectives of the SPDC. That is whay NLD is called the opposition party.
I wonder if other NLD leadership have read these small prints and between lines, do they know Ma Su Kyi at all if they are not conspiracy to her plans.
Some of them used to be military personnel . They must know what the intention
of other ethnic races and what they are fighting for, surely they must know what the consequences are as well.
Its not much, only 60 years , if only Ma Su Kyi had study, the history of Myanmar for those 60 years , what the governments were doing while she was away, having good time. She will definitely know the truth.
Eligible or not, nothing matter any more. She cannot be trusted in any way not even as an outsider. We cannot trust NLD which she is leading either. She is trying to revive 1947 constitution which did not serve well to the ethnic national races sh is in favour or to the Union of Myanmar. As a matter of fact , that constitution was the British idea,
Bamars must be vigilant for Ma Su Kyi is a heart breaker, family breaker and a nation breaker. Bamars as an ethnic race in Myanmar can become prays for the hyenas. No matter what we do we must never give her the chance to break the unity of all people with her sweet words. She may be killing all of us softly.
