BCP constantly committing acts posing danger to the nation
Yan Gyi Aung
Now, the Burma Communist Party (BCP) no longer exists, but the remnant BCP members are making comments to get the nation into troubles.
I heard recently that a so-called spokesman of the BCP made ill suggestions for the public regarding Announcement Nos 1/2008 and 2/2008. A salient point in this regard was that his voice came from the western power, the greatest enemy of the Communists.
The BCP by nature is very chopping and changing. When the announcements came out, it said that the upcoming referendum was just a sham and it was designed to prolong the military rule, so it would have to eliminate the referendum. The BCP added that it was in a ‘do or die’ situation. Later, it again said that it would have to knock down the military government through the way of voting against the constitution.
The BCP has cultivated that bad habit since years of yore. It uses impressive and beautiful words, paying lip service to national development. But, it has a very poor reasoning power and follows the instructions of others. And it accuses others without knowing all the facts and without thinking whether a case is logical or not. When the World War II was over, the BCP’s policy was just to surrender to the British colonialists. It even informed the British colonialists about the Burma Tatmadaw that was stockpiling weapons to launch the underground revolt through the policy “Fight the colonialists if independence is not granted”. When the nation regained independence, the BCP launched its armed struggle line, putting too much trust in the imported paper “On the present situation in Burma and Our Task”. What was the use of the BCP’s over-40-year armed insurgency for the motherland? Its armed revolt produced no constructive results, except loss of public property and people’s lives.
In 1963, the Revolutionary Council Government proposed an offer of peace talks for internal peace. However, it said that that day, its enemy (the government) was incapable of holding peace talks according to the government’s deteriorating national capitalist character. The government’s proposal for peace talks was just a sham. The proposal for peace talks fell flat due to its compliance with the external elements’ instruction on practising one-upmanship in holding talks with the government. The photo of BCP’s delegation led by Yebaw Htay turning their backs to the nation and returning to the Bago Yoma mountain range was stated on the front page of Shei-tho (Forward) Journal. It was a sorrowful scene for the people whofavoured peace.
It directly copied the imported political opinions without thinking whether the opinions were in conformity with the prevailing situations in the nation. In consequence, it launched the great cultural revolution, the policy of building red power, and the policy “Dismiss, remove and kill”. In the end, the BCP met its tragic end. It is a valuable lesson. After the 1988 unrest, the BCP thought that the Tatmadaw (Armed Forces) government had got into crises, and launched an attack on Mongyan region. But, it suffered loss of its members heavily. To make matters worse, national race groups drove out old BCP cadres. It is common knowledge that since then, the BCP has gone down the drain. Again, it is persuading the people to disrupt the referendum or vote against it, to the liking of its western masters. Very clearly, if the people do as it says, there will be no positive results but taking longer to introduce democracy in the nation.
Here, I would like to point out the demand of some fussy people for cent per cent liberal democracy. The maximum containment of pure gold in gold is 99.99 per cent, let alone democracy. None of the over 190 world countries can practise cent per cent democracy. The US, whose constitution’s permeable says that the God creates all human beings equally and that calls itself the democracy pioneer, gained independence in 1776. And only in the early 1960s, did all the Blacks in the country got the right to vote. A cup of coffeemix can be made in a short time, but democracy cannot be introduced so.
The BCP members took refuge in the policies of Karl Marx and Lenin, who said that all the capitalists were to be eliminated first. However, in the pragmatic world, they did all the works assigned by the notorious capitalist countries. Therefore, after the World War II, the BCPs were conferred Order of British Empire-OBE title by the British Empire. It was claiming loudly “anti-colonialist policy” while the nationalist Chinese troops, aided and abetted by the US, intruded into Myanmar. But, in practice, to the liking of the colonialists, they ambushed the convoy of the Tatmadaw (armed forces) that was on its way to attack the intruders. What was the intention of the BCP spokesman's voice that came from Washington? I have nothing to do with the BCP. The BCP has been complying with and relying on the directives and instructions of external elements. Besides, it has done and spoken wrong many times, so, the nation got into troubles a lot and it met its end. I would like to suggest that the BCP take lessons from the past bitter experiences. I would like to remind the public that they should not take such words of the BCP seriously, because they hold no water.

Mr Yan Gyi Aung,
I never expect anything positive reaction from a communist like him on any Myanmar Government in the past or at present especially Tatmadaw Government.
Jesus Christ raised Lazarus from death. He himself rised from
the death, but Buddha did not do that.t. Moses' brother Isaac transformed his rod into a snake and there were so many miricles in the Christian world.
Alright, let's be serious. In my view the period of communist witch hunt is over. In politic there is neither permanent friends nor permanent foes.
" the western power, the greatest enemy of the Communists." you said.
That western power is no more the greatest enemy of the communists It is greatest friend of the communists today, How good a friend we have to wait and see.
If my memories serves me right , BCP went into the jungle before the KNDO. BCP never talk about any positive things about any government of Union of Myanmar even during socialist era. . They did not give up , they were battened on their own ground. Thanks to Myanma Tatmadaw.
Besides PR China has other things to worry about. If they have worries for their friends they don’t show. Russian communists and all other communists are becoming Democratic Communists now. That is what I mean to say “ Nga Jin Ne Nga Jin Kyaw”.
European are taken in former communists countries an former Warsaw pact countries into their Union as their allies in a hurry, before they go back to Russia or China. On what level they ware being taking in, you have to ask the West.
You can be anybody you want , you can even be a devil as long as you don't defy or threaten the Western Great Power. , on the basis of be agree to disagree and be friends.
Whether one truly believe in democracy or not , as long as they recite democracy and human rights at least three times a day , they will be OK, alright. no harm will come to them . It is the most effective one in the politic of the world today. Call it " Undayel Kin -Gar Htar " immune to any dangers.
That is what I am afraid about democracy in Myanmar . Since 1988 everybody is talking about democracy, how they longed for democracy. Including insurgents how much do they believe in democracy I am not sure.
I know what that BCP would say. He could say that the people have a right to change their minds. People have a right to change their belief. They have a right to be what they want to be. That is the meaning of freedom. Whatever he said is under the pretext of freedom of speech.
Democracy and human rights, freedom of this and that are subject to translation and interpretation.
In Myanmar we say, they are not, " Hlay Nan Dah Htit ". They are like rubber bands you can stretch them or you can shrink them. Whatever men have created men can destroy them including, Democracy and Human Rights could be undermined and manipulated , it depends on how much power do you have. The power can construct and the power can destruct.
The democracy and human rights or whatever SPDC is doing has to be focused or high lighted as negatives by pessimists, because it is necessary for them to distract everyone from what they themselves are doing violating all thehuman rights within their own country or at outside. Ignoring or turning blind eyes on what their friends are doing. They have to cover themselves by victimising a small nation such as Myanmar, oputting to the open.
No matter how much they may be trying, they owe it to the people of Laos, they owe it to people of Cambodia, they owe it to people of Vietnam, they owe it to the people of Afghanistan and they owe it to the people of Iraq.
How much hjatred they will be growing or how much they will be forgiven the concerned people will know, those dead are dead already. They have no right to speak for genocide, ethnic cleansing, crime against humanity, war crimes etc. Big powere commits big crimes no such things, only small nations may commit small crimes.
The remnant of Pol Pot is still under trial.
Justification, what justification, what are you talking about ? Fair, what fair? Fun Fair ? What fair, I don't know what you are saying.
Being Communists or Socialists or Capitalists is not a problem. Anybody can be anybody friend as long as he. she is no more enemy. But on what level on what equal basis is the question.
Every Tom, Dick and Harry in the world with common sense know that.
If the BCP you are referring to is working for Ma Su Kyi , I wouldn't be surprise.
Regards,
Thunderbolts
