To speed this future Myanmar that can be ours we have to map out a great programme that soon will become the dominant influence in the whole life of the nation.

It will affect and be affected by millions of citizen. It is not a demagogic platitude, but a statement of fact to say that the success and failure of the plan for future Myanmar will be decided by you, the people of Myanmar.

We shall waste no energies, in lamentations or bitterness of the past . Our heritage is proud and strong, but our true history lies ahead. And there is much to be done.

Union of Myanmar is full with natural resources, The people of Myanmar are resourceful and talented . They possess the indispensable personal and human values that always underlie national greatness.

Instead of high standard of living that our resources make possible , we have today an abysmally low standard of existence. It is well known that living standards throughout Asia are sadly inferior to those of western Europe and especially the United States. Yet Standard of living in Myanmar are low even when compared to most of our neighbours.

Responsibility for the success of the plan will fall broadly across many shoulders. The success of the plan also depends on peace and stability of the nation of Myanmar

It is necessary to restore real peace and stability in Myanmar as soon as possible.
