I like debate like this. SPDC cheated the people from the very beginning. They had cheated then and they cheated now. It does not need a rocket scientist to figure out what SPDC is up to. Like I said before, for smart people when it quacks like a duck, walks like a duck it is a duck not snake. Now, let's go to your second point which is SPDC may not need to cheat the results. SPDC needs all in the world to cheat, for the people not to mention monks do not like them and the revolution is going on and on, again and again, the sanctions are tightening more and more not to mention their PaThways PaukPaws are dictating them to do what the chinks want. They need to cheat for if they don't they will lose again and again and they cannot afford to lose again. This time they had to be sure they (their proxy party) wins. They have to cheat to win for in reality they are the most hated, disgusted regime in the entire world. Not only they cheat but also they are putting the NLD members in jail including the ultimate leader Daw Suu. Don't they? Don't you see that? Are you blind?. My American friend white dude ask me after seeing the movie RAMBO "why in the world your native country's regime kill their own people? even the Mexicans don't do that". I honestly don't know why he compare (my native country's regime) with the Mexicans. Burmese people already voted what they wanted in September 2007. It is cystal clear peaceful religious buddhist monks' demonstrations IS the votes demonstrated clearly to the world what their choice is. Step aside spdc, step aside for these monks knowingly risking their precious lives will not do what they had done. Idiots will not see that, morons will not see that, fools will not see that and most of all stupid people will not see or understand that for their brains are so polluted with worshipping criminals of the century = spdc. I was not there so can you at least explain the killings of 88 and 07? What do you mean by "betterment"? Gun down in the streets is betterment? Killing monks is betterment. This is the SAME regime that kills many people, their own people/monks that is sponsoring the referendum. I am amazed there are people like you who trust the murderers.
