Dear Patriots,
Democracy is the most popular word. Popular political system. It is a fasion. If you support democracy, if you believe in democracy, even if you do not believe in democracy just follow it, you can do no wrong.
As I have said many times before. Myanmar was a democratic country. It wantd to be independent. it wanted to be free. It wanted to be a sovereign nation, that democracy did ot work in Myanmar.
As Myanmar had experienced through out these sixty years, those who does not believe in democracy were trying to destroye Myanmar and democracy. These none believers in democracy were supportrd by those democrats from outsiders, by these who were preaching democracy. To our surprise these same outsiders are preaching anti-democracy at the same time, to other people in Myanmar.
To cover their guilt and double standard, they blamed anyone who tried to say something else. Democracy together with socialism as Socialist Democracy intriduced was rejected by many. U Ne WIn was blamed as destroyer of democracy. When U Ne Win tried to materialised socialism which was the idea of Ko Aung San., he did notnescape the blame either.
Do we know ourseolf or not. the nature of Myanmar is either socialist or communist. Buddhism could be seen as either socialism or communism.
Myanmar politicians including Ko Aung San were known as the leftists, except some anglophiles. These anglop[hiles includes some Myanmar royals as well.
First to look at it from the negative view, one Myanmar historian who happened to be a Not only Myanmar but also a Royal Blue blood, who was once fighting against the British in armed rebel surrendered to the British and in the end he was serving the British. For his good services he was honoured K.S.M ( Kyetthayeysoung Shwe SalweYa Min ) and A.T M,( Ahmhu Htan Koung Min. He was appointed asa Magadan Wun , the minister who was responsible for Buddhist Religious Affairs including cleansing the Buddhisr order. He had nothing to do with Hindus, Christians or Muslims or Jews, while those religion thriving in Myanmar Naing Gan Daw. And h ew as very proud to be K.S. , A.M K. And he was very proud. What if he was honoured with MBE, or OBE from the King or the Queen of Great Britain.
From the positive side there is nothing much , he could be remembered for his part fighting against the British for Myanmar King and Myanmar country. He will also be remembered as another historian and also be remembered as another anglophile.
There were many other Myanmars from ordinary blood, and royal blood who take rufuge or went under the shade of British umbrella for protection. In the end they did even know themselves. They were those who jumped the fence, went to the winning side and accepted the honours from the British.
My point is, I can see anything negative if I am looking from the negative angle.
Today it is more easy, those who are infavour of democracy will be honoured by the democrats, as I said whether they believe in democracy or not is another matter , what they were or what they believe in.
Dalai Lama was honoured congressional medel for his democratic view. Lucky his holiness still believe in Buddha. Out of many one Myanmar Phonegyi was honoured by the US for his democratic work, How many more will follow him? And of course Ma Su Kyi.
I only wonder why U Nu was noear Patriots,

I only wonder why U Nu was not honoured like that. I only wonder why U Thant was not honoured like that?
The world is pushing Myanmar to be demoratic. Myanmar is being pushed to do it quick. They said they have lost their patient. Some people even want a time frame, regardless of the consequences.
Some such as so called democrats such as Dr. Win Naing and Aung Zaw ( 1988) even suggested foreign troops to go into Myanmar, Afghanistan, or Iraq. I hope Win Naing and Aung Zaw will be leading those troops like Ko Aung San led the Japanese to Myanmar.
What I want to say to these Myanmars is , those who invade will be repelled. Those who rebelled will be annihilated.
Those insurgents, terrorists in Myanmar never believed in democracy. It has been proved. Nobody in the past or at present encourage them to believe in democracy, let alone to tell them pressured on them that democracy is the only way. Because these democrats may have other plans for them.
When SPDC offers democracy and peace they refused. When SPDC tried to cruch them they cry.
Does Myanmars know what they want? Does the world community know what it wants, to put any kind of pressures on SPDC?
There is a Myanmar saying " Nga Jin Si Ne - Nga Jin Kyaw", the fish ( Nga Jin ) has to fry in its own oil ( Nga Jin Si). Myanmars are being fried in their own oil. How many Myanmars realised that?
Happy hunting,
Thunderbolts.
