Thailand should be a better neighbour. 9 Months ago Karma: -4
Dear Patriots,

Thailand and Myanmar have a long history . It took many years to build a good relationship between them. Would Thailand let the warm relation with Myanmar spoil by the Myanmar agitators. who were branded as rebels, insurgents and terrorists.?

Today Thailand itself is facing the insurgents problems in the South of the country. I think Thailand understands more about Myanmar problems then before.

In the past and at the moment Thailand is still harbouring those who oppose Myanmar government It harboured all the known insurgent. Some of its military officers, were in the drug business with the drug dealers. Thailand could run but it could not hide anymore.

Once , some parts of Thailand belonged to Myanmar, such as Chaing Mai. For instance. Still today a good percentage of Chaig Mai’s population are Myanmars or descendents of Myanmar. Who knows one day these Myanmar might claim back the land or demand for autonomous region, as ethnic Myanmar races in Thailand like the Kayins in Myanmar as well as in Thailand .

Thailand could not take any more. In other word it has to do a good neighbourly duty. To do something about illegal Myanmar immigrants whether under the supervision of the UN or not. Because there are more fake cases then the genuine political cases. International law does not permit that. .

In the past Thailand permitted US to launch attacks on Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam from its soil. And now together with these nations Thailand is becoming a member of ASEAN. With support from Thailand Myanmar becomes a member as well.

On the news it said that in Singapore, Myanmars dissidents are not allowed to demonstrate against SPDC, at least not in front of the Myanmar Embassy. I heard on the news.

All the neighbouring nations. know now that these dissidents are all fakes including the Buddhist monks.. It is unfortunate for the Myanmar Buddhist monks. Many ASEAN countries are Buddhist and they know what a Buddhist monk is and how a Buddhist monks should be. Or supposed to be.

Myanmar opposition should be aware of it and be wise not to use and abuse Buddhism. In Myanmar when the democratic elections would be nobody knows but they are much more nearer than before. Those who misused or abused the religion will have to pay.

Thunderbolts.
