Dear Patriots,

We may have different ideas, different opinions and different views but we all know what is happening in Myanmar.
We also know dialog is needed. Reconciliation is needed everybody who has sense is saying that.

Anti government, anti SPDC, anti Ma Su Kyi, anti NLD. After all these years we all know good and bad things about SPDC, negative and positives about SPDC. SPDC is not perfect like any other government in the world.

We must admit that we know almost nothing about Ma SU Kyi or NLD. MA Su Kyi and NLD are the opposition to SPDC so those who oppose SPDC support Ma Su Kyi and NLD. We csan not expect them to be perfect either.

Myanmar saying is "Shin Gyi Kyar De So" or in English, " the devil you know is better than the devil you
don't know".

Some people may think Ma Su Kyi is better, NLD may be better. We do not know that for sure. If and when Ma Su Kyi and NLD came to power we do not know what kind of strings will be attached to them by the west or by the east. What kind of tune Ma Su Kyi has to dance. By the look of it she is totally leaning towards the west. Do not forget Myanmar is none alliegn, it is neutral country all along.

There are many mass protests and demonstrations in Myanamar but they are not calling for dialog or for reconciliation. It seems to me that people do not want dialog, people do not want to reconcile. What a shame.

If people are to demonstrate, the simple thing and meaningful thing is to show to all sides that people desire peace. People should demonstrate with demands saying we want peace, we favours dialog and condeming all kind of the terrorists/armed insurections.

SPDC and NLD they need each other. All our nationalities we all need each other. No matter how few they may be armed insurection is counter productive. It will only bring bad results to the nation, to the people.

We know that don't we? We are seeing that happening in other countries before our very own eyes, don't we? We have our own bitter lessons don't we?

Myanmar will exist so long as this planet exists. Myanmar will march forward to peace and prosperity whether MaSukyi likes it or not, NLD likes it or not or for that matter, anyone. Myanmar will be one country one people whether masukyi likes it or not, whether she wants to contribute towards peace and prosperity or be deterimemtal to the course.
Our tatmadaw must also undertake substantial reform, must regain respects and trust it deserves.
bottom up doesnot work in myanmar, it must be TOP DOWN.

May I call you that? Is that you, really you? I ask you this because I notice that your style of writing is changed, totally different, should I say. If you know what I mean. Never mind about that, its not important. When you use the the code correctly, it must be you. I am not sure how many have decoded the code.

Myanmar has come to the crossed road. To where is the leaders going depends where the people like them to go. It would be lovely if can see things from all angles.

Surely Myanmar will exits, as long as this planet exits. Sahara. Navada, Gobi and many deserts also exit on the planet. We do not want Myanmar to exit like them, do we?

To march forward to peace and prosperity, one cannot do it alone. One group cannot do it alone. We know that, we must accept that. If that could be done with one or one group Myanmars will be laughing .Time has change , we must change with it we all must changed.

Our Tatmadaw must also undertake substantial reform, must regain respects and trust it deserves. bottom up doesnot work in myanmar, it must be

There must be one Tatmadaw to be called OUR Tatmadaw. Circumstances must permit for reform. We must create the necessary circumstances don’t you think? If reforms are needed one Tatmadaw is easy to reform. So many Tatmnadaws in one small country like Myanmar is not easy.

If we are not learned by now, it is nobody’s fault.

I like that best when you reinstated that, “ Myanmar will be one country, one people ” It should be, all our great leaders in the past did try to build Myanmar as one country with all people as one people. That Myanmar came and gone. Builders and destroyers came and gone many times as well. Now the present Myanmar leaders are also trying to build again., they both say they are trying to build , but not to destroy it. Don’t they know there is no strength, because there is no unity among them. Leaders depends on people. If people are not united, leaders cannot be united. When people are divided leaders are divided.

We can be divided but united. We see in many countries. Though they are divided, they are united. What a lesson we Myanmar need to learn. That’s why I said many times Myanmar need to grow up, they need to be matured.

True, all parties must reformed. I also like the phrase which is not new , but it came out from somebody’s mouth. As the first words, “ in the interest of the nation.” .At least that is seen as the realization from the part of that somebody.

I don’t want to pick on these words and pack them. But what does that phrase mean? How do we interpret that, how do we translate that? Transparency, accountable. Straight talks are necessary. Not to use the words which has double meanings.

My request is to the west is to leave the Myanmars alone, let them sort their own problems. Please do not add more problems on them. If you want to help, help them their economy grow., help Myanmar to develop into modern developed nation. If you can help the communist such Laos, Cambodia Vietnam and have good and normal relationship Communist China and other countries of course you can help Myanmar without bullying her.

That is not all, all countries, neighbouring countries which are benefiting on Myanmar, taking advantages on Myanmar’s chaos and crisis which are exploiting on Myanmar should be as honest and as sincere as they could be to help Myanmar and to be good neighbours.

People with honesty and sincerity are rear species nowadays. But I know , they are still available, they are needed.

Don’t help if you don’t want to but please do not disturb them. They will be alright on their own. They will get tired and reconcile in the end.

Educated people should act like educated one. Intellectual people should act intellectually. Educated or intellectual people realise that Karya and Nyanna
Swan-ahrs are needed. Without Karya, Nyanna can not do it, without Nyanna Karya cannot do it either. They must go together, they must use each other help each other.

The main thing is people of Myanmar must not put un necessary pressures on our leaders They need their heads cool. They need to think, the best for the people in the interest of the nation.

well in next a few weeks I will be somewhere close to my heart. putting this aside, there are a few things I am worried about. I do hope ASSK understand the issue comphrehensively this time around.
(1) political manoeuvre must be made very carefully
(2) individual will align herself or will be put in certain position where new stance will have some chance to play up again
(3)we know certain sector looking up to where the sun goes down and if situation permits, strings will be pulled again
(4)this perhaps might be just what is expected by you know who
(5)no doubt there will be some whose relevance will be severely marginalised and rendered ineffectual, again this may be the design
(6)I think one stage there was ample opportunity for her to participate and cooperate but once bitten twice shy, besides we all view strategy, tactic and operations dont we?
(7)this move needs to configure collective viewing perspectives, it means individuals will be effectively marginalised, to do that opportunity must be given but inefficient handling can cause major issues.
(8) may be a few face saving techniques might get in the way of real decent cooperations but I am sure things will be fine
(9) we all know what happened to Yank's back socalled demo leader an island close to them? we wont let it heppen in the first place.
anyway, I do hope for the best for the sake of all people. I do hope this alignment does not interfere Naungnhapin process but rather enhance and solidify. even tho next 6 months will be very interesting, hard to see any substantial until after 2008. anyway its nice to talk to you again sirmgthwar. I initially thought of stopping over UK but I changed my mind.

Outline the tasks, keep the frame of constructive flexibility, depersonalize some, etc. etc.

One most challenging task that is very clear and bold - one country one people, then progressive society, freedom and liberty.

All support should be more for these tasks, rather than against greens. Previous choice was more against greens than for such stuffs.

A terminal disease that we are responsible to eradicate those - in a state of collective denial.
