I had sometime to read army thugs' newspaper and could not stop laughing. I remember the fall of BSPP. All ex-BSPP were fooled by their interligence that people were fully supporting them, and found out too late that all reportd by MI were nothing but the lies.

Similarly, army thugs are making themselves people are attacking demonstrators on fuel hike. No one will buy this sort of stories, soon they will find soldier from their army will fight back army thugs.

Good luck to GENERALS,, your time is limitted..

Dear Ko Bahein,

You were not far off the mark to say that the regime in Burma, whether it's the current one or the socialist, has to rely on what has been presented to them as 'facts or the truth'. When agency like intelligence has no right to report with sincerity then the whole decision making process is going to fail.

You may remember when the NIB was put under Prime Minister's office but if the PM himself have neither the courage or sincerity to brief U Ne Win about the situattion on the ground the whole system collasped.

In my life I've seen many instances where the people in civil service had to grope their way through the dark because of the fact that no one had a clear picture of what they were asked to do.

Some may say that the recent price hike in petrol was made because of IMF's insistance to remove the subsidaries from petrol. How far from the truth, who can say for sure?

The former South Korean dictator Park Chung-Hee was killed by his own security chief then who knows how Than Shwe and Maung Aye might be eliminated. It's getting more and more interesting each day.
