As you said we have plenty of gas, yet, why are we (the Burmese people) still using the charcoal, wood and electricity for our cooking?

Can’t you fill it in cylinders and sell it to the public??

If the public start using gas would it not be good for our forest??

Yes, we have people who are using gas for their cooking, but only a hand full.

Why gas cylinders permits are sold to the certain people only??

Yet, why you can buy that permits (books) in black market?

Why most of permit (books) sold in the black market are mostly in the names of military personals?

In our neighboring countries, gas cylinders are sold openly. As exporter of gas, why can’t you sell it to YOUR OWN PEOPLE openly???

Do you know the cost of permit (book) in the black market??? 1,000,000 kyats (yes, 1 million kyats, equivalent to 800 USDollars (roughly!)!!!! while in our neighbouring countries, you can buy it openly and cheaply and most of all, you don’t have to bring your gas cylinder to fill like in our country. They are just a PHONE CALL AWAY!!!

People are left in the darkness for several hours a day without electricity, why can’t you buy GAS TURBINE to power our electricity FOR THE PUBLIC?????? During Ne Win’s era, Government bought gas turbine from John Brown Engineering for electricity. WHY NOT NOW???? THE COST??? Less than 1 MIG 29 jet fighter (CRASHED)!!

IF THE PUBLIC can use gas for their cooking, don’t you think that we will save a lot of firewood, charcoal which in turn we can save our forest. DON’T YOU THINK SO?????

LAST NOT LEAST, IF WE HAVE PLENTY OF GAS, WHY RAISE THE PRICE OF GAS???? DON’T YOU CONSIDER THE OUTCOME OF THAT?????
