It was revealed earlier today that Charm Tong, a peace fighter from Burma, is the winner of the Student Peace Prize 2007. Although Charm Tong is only 25 years old, through her short life she has already made an address to the United Nations Commission on Human Rights and had an hour long meeting with George W. Bush – the president of U.S.A.

The prize is awarded by IsFIT.

ISFiT- The International Student Festival in Trondheim is the world’s largest student festival with a thematic focus. Every second year since 1990, ISFiT has been arranged in Trondheim, Norway.
