From 1910 to 1920 anthropoligsts deemed Asian
Indians as Caucasian and several courts and several
courts deemed indians as White and a few as not white.
However starting from 1923 the official judicial
stance was to classify Indians as Asian.
In some cases, racial classification changed over time:

Actually i saw an Indian student with gray eyes

and another one with green eyes--

that doesn't fit much being Asian
