I AM PRATIBHA PATIL, PRESIDENT OF INDIA

Here are the explanation given by Zia :

Born on born December 19, 1934, I am Pratibha Devisingh Patil, the 12th and current President of India.


I am India's first female president. I was sworn in as President of India on July 25, 2007 by the Chief Justice of India K. G. Balakrishnan and I succeeded Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam

A trained lawyer, I represented Edlabad constituency in Jalgaon District, Maharashtra as a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly (1962-1985), and was deputy chairwoman of the Rajya Sabha (1986-1988), Member of Parliament from Amravati in the Lok Sabha (1991-1996), and the 24th, and the first woman Governor of Rajasthan (2004-2007)

A member of the Indian National Congress, on prposition of Sonia Gandhi, I was nominated by the ruling United Progressive Alliance and Indian Left. I won the presidential election held on July 19, 2007 defeating my nearest rival and fellow Rajput Bhairon Singh Shekhawat by over 300,000 votes.

WHO I AM ?

I AM JAMES BROOKE, THE FIRST WHITE RAJA OF SARAWAK

Here are the explanation given by Limsing1958 :

I am Sir James Brooke,born 29 April 1803.

I am the original White Raja of Sarawak, currently a 124,450 square kilometer member state in the Federation Of Malaysia, situated on the north western portion of the island of Borneo. The fictional character, Tuan (Lord) Jim, a novel by Joseph Conrad was inspired by me.

Legend has it that the territory of what is now Sarawak was gradually given to me by the Sultan of Brunei as a series of rewards for helping the Sultan destroy the pirates in the seas around the island in a long drawn out war. As more territory was ceded to me, the Sultanate of Brunei was eventually reduced to the size it is now.

>The truth is that I was was an empire builder for the British just as much as Sir Stamford Raffles or Robert Clive of India were. I helped the Sultan put down an uprising by the Dayaks after which I turned my guns around and threatened the Sultan. To preserve his independence, the Sultan gradually ceded territories to me.

I died in England on 11 June 1868, officially unmarried (in fact I prefered men) and was succeeded by my nephew, Sir Charles Anthoni Johnson-Brooke.

I AM HEDEKI TOJO, JAPANESE PRIME MINISTER AND WAR CRIMINAL

Born on 30th December 1884, I joined the Japanese Army and my service included periods in Switzerland and Germany.

I belonged the Kwantung Army's in charge of Manchukuo and have been its chief of staff (May1937-May 1938).

In May 1938, I was appointed vice minister of war, then returned to the armed services and took command of the army's aviation.

I held extreme right-wing views and was a supporter of Nazi Germany. In July 1941 I was appointed minister of war, advocating an aggressive foreign policy.

Prime minister on 16th October 1941, I ordered the attack on Pearl Harbor on 7th December, 1941. As well as prime minister I also held the posts of minister of war, home minister and foreign minister. From February 1944 I was also Commander in Chief of the General Staff.

I resigned from office after the loss of Saipan in July 1944. I shot myself in the chest just before to be arrested by the US Military in 1945. I survived and after being nursed back to health (see the picture), I was tried as a war criminal and executed on 23rd December 1948.

I AM YANG LIWEI, THE FIRST CHINESE SEND IN SPACE

I am Lieutenant-Colonel Yang Liwei, born June 21, 1965 in Suizhong, Liaoning Province, China. I am the first "taikonaut" in space aboard Shenzhou 5, thus making the People's Republic of China the third country after the Soviet Union and the United States of America, with the capability to send people into safely space.

I joined the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) when I was 18 years old and became a fighter pilot. Selected as an astronaut candidate in 1988, I was launched into space aboard a Shenzhou 5 spacecraft on October 15, 2003 then promoted full Colonel

Yet I am not the first Chinese attempt to travel into outer space. In the 16th century during the Ming Dynasty a scholar/scientist, Wan Hu attached numerous giant rockets to his sedan chair in an attempt to go to the moon. He got in his sedan chair and had his servants lit the rockets. There was a tremendous explosion and when the smoke cleared, no trace of Wan Hu was ever seen again. Some Chinese still believe he is the man in the Moon.

I AM CHIANG CHING-KUO, PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF CHINA AND SON OF CHIANG KAI-SHEK

I am Chiang Ching-kuo, born 27 April 1910, Fenghua, Zhejiang Province, China, as the eldest son to the first wife ( Mao Fumei) of Chiang Kai-shek, the man seated on this picture taken in 1948 on the right is my father, the Generalissimo and leader of Kuomintang, the party in control of China.

When I was a child, my father was very authoritarian. In 1929, I was send to Moscow to study communism. I stayed 12 years and Married a native Belarussian. I return to China on April 1937

On December 10, 1949, my father and I were forced to flee Chengdu where we made our last stand against the advancing victorious armies of the Communist Party of China. We retreated to the island of Taiwan.

In Taiwan I have been vice-premier (1969-1972), premier (1972-1978) and President of the Republic of China from 1978 until I passed away on 13 January 1988.

During my tenure, I ended martial law, allowed the freedom of speech and political dissent and set Taiwan on the course of democratic reforms. Today Taiwan is one of the world’s freest, most advanced and richest countries. As I looked across the Taiwan Strait, I cannot help but wonder about what might have been.

But could things have been different? As a means to power my father had allied himself to the most powerful triad society in China, the Green Gang headed by Big Ears Du, divorced my mother and renounced his Buddhist faith to marry Soong Mei-ling who was of a wealthy Christian family, a faith which most Chinese view with suspicion. With a mafia type organization fully embeded in the KMT, it was no surprise that China was plaqued with corruption and when I tried to crack down on the corruption, I was forced to back off by my step mother whose family must obviously be profiting from it.
