Has he really died of typhoid? robert fox weighs the claim and its implications

Osama bin Laden, charismatic founder of al-Qaeda, died of typhoid earlier this month in Pakistan, according to a highly classified intelligence brief given to the King of Saudi Arabia and President Chirac this week, and leaked to the French newspaper L'Est Republicain.

Hi Linsi !

You are fantastic, you have even french sources.

For what I know as a watcher of Afghanistan and Pakistan, it is not the first tima that the dead od Ben Laben as been announced, but never confirmed.

I think he his always on the run between Pakistan and the Afghanistan side of the common border. Several times, he was closed to be catched, but he gave a lot of money to local traditional chiefs to help him to escape.

They took the American money, then helped Ben Laden to escape : more money and muslim solidarity
