What is the meaning of your nick/screen name? 1 Year, 4 Months ago

Our nickname/screen name/ handle has some sort of meaning to us.
My nickname is definitely not my real name. I just coined it many years ago when I started joining online communities. I thought of a nickname that's unique and has letters P and K in it. Why those letters? Because letters P and K constitute my real childhood nickname.
How about yours? Can you tell us its meaning? Why did you choose that handle? How long have you been using it?

FOR ME, IT MEANS NOTHING.
Actually, it is nothing but a sort of identification BUT, in Myanmar, people tend to look for a BIG nick name which they think it can monopolize or dominates on others.
I have seen some one is trying to make an issue out of it. For me, if that person is so sincere and fond of that particular name, I don’t see any reason, why he should write with other names or even in the same forum.
As he has used many names for his articles, he is just trying to make an issue out of it and he himself said the name means nothing for him.

Is it only me - or do many others also use a variety of nick names depending on what type of site you are on? How do you vary your nick names then?

Hey pokkha!
Your "childhood nickname" is constituted with letters P and K ?
I hope not your nickname PK means "Preacher's Kid" otherwise it could be "Playful Kid" like making monkey to be dizziness..??

Hahaha! You're funny gyogoat! My kiddie nickname didn't actually have any meaning at all, as far as I know. It was coined by my late grandfather.
How about yours? What is its meaning? What does the word "goat" have to do with your nickname?

I'm sure you all know the slang term BOOYA!
well back in highscool I injected the word "ka"--(tagalog word for YOU)
hence, BOOYA + KA = BOOYAKA
and we'd use it with different accents and just trip around people, and that just stuck.
well, this is a nonsense forum anyway, so it kinda makes sense to me while typing this. LOL

My nickname is Chagoot. I scandalize my Cambodian friends by saying, " K'nyom jee-a doan chagoot". It's even on my telephone answering system. It stops telemarketers in their tracks (in the US). Maybe Khmer people here can understand what I wrote?
In the movie "Harvey", James Stewart had an invisible friend--a 6-ft tall rabbit. People said at the end that this rabbit was a spirit called a "Pukka". That sounds a little like your name. Maybe someday you'll be a Pukka for someone!
